Nice plane ... but i´m having two problems:

-It´s very hard to taxi with it. It goes for both sides without control all the time. Don´t have this situation with other aircrafts pay and freeware.

- What are those things in the wings?  ???

I think it can be better designed.

Thanks.

Thanks woweezowee! It was raining in my test endeed.  ;D

I´ll try in a sunny and quiet airport to see what happens ...

EDIT: Just checked and the strange performance is just taxing ... not in the air. Here, if i relief the brakes it starts to run alone without any trust (Not using any ultra joystick, just a simple one). And when taxing, it starts to go to the left alone and even when i steer to the right it appears to "drift" on the surface ... not going to the right at all. I have to pull the brakes and start taxing again .... And of course: i´m not running!!! Just going very slow.

First i thought it might be the engine torque. But it´s too strong to be it!

I see this as well. I know its a light aircraft but not that light. The behaviors on ground when taxiing must be incorrect. Just releasing the brakes makes the plane move and it moves to the right as soon as you touch down on runway surface or when just taxiing.

Flaviossa even when the aircraft is at idle it should roll forward.  When I took lessons in this plane my instructor made sure I had my toes cramed on the breaks. Remember its fixed pitch.  Remember the forces acting on the plane that causes it to steer out of a straight path, Pfactor, engine torque and propwash just to name a few. Keep those in mind when taxing, I worked pretty hard on the ground handing. Many planes ive flown in xplane slide around not steer.  :)

And  those round things under the wings are access ports.

The aircraft do move to the right though as soon as you add some throttle and start to taxi, very annoying. I have flown hundreds of hours in PA28 aircraft IRL and never does that occur. I tried also to set windspeed to 0 to make sure it is not a wind thing as well as to taxi in various directions just to make sure the wind was not the factor, but still the aircraft moved to the right. Massive yoke correction is needed to stay on path.

Still the Cessna is growing to become one of my aircraft of choice, great plane!

Hello Airbus!

Thanks for the answer. As i´m not a real pilot, just a fanatic virtual pilot i cannot argue with people that flies the real one!!  :)

I know that there are many forces involved in the plane movement, i just tried to show that the combination of this factors are making the plane almost impossible to taxi. I´m starting my flights with it in the runway as i can´t taxi to it in a proper way now.

And about the access ports, i realized it is this ... access ports. But my indagation is that if it can be more smoothly integrated to the wings. Now it appears that they are "out" of the wing like some "patches" in wing holes  ;D ;D

As it is now, it´s a pleasure to fly with this bird, i only thought that my feedback would be of same value to you to make the little bird better. Thanks!

I’ll take a further look at these forces when I'm back to my X-Plane computer. On my end the forces seemed right. I can make it easier to control by working with the engine side cant settings in plane maker. That should lessen the work load. Ill also play around with the access ports also maybe round them off and bring them back into the wings some. I'm glad you are still enjoying it. I'm enjoying the feedback it’s helping to make the addon much better.

Are you using differential breaking to help control your direction?

It’s a little like manufactures releasing a new line of products. Without customers feedback many manufactures would not have the status they have now.  :) So keep the suggestions flowing its helping me learn quite a bit about making add on aircraft.
