Does anybody think the radio dials turn a little too slowly? For my blood they do. Is there anyway to adjust the speed when holding the knob?

Are you referring to the physical animation of the dials, or the speed at which the frequency changes?

I was sitting in the left seat zoomed out as far as I could. I was assigned a beacon code of 1745. It seems too slow to switch to the code. Also, the transponder has 8s and 9s available.

@JGregory, I am referrring to the speed at which the frequency changes. I fly online and when I get a frequency change, it seems to take so long to be able to check in on the new frequency. I couldn't imagine having to fly the mini-route over LAX and being able to switch frequencies on time and still be able to fly the plane.

This will be changing…. no promises as to when.

Any chance for a quick hotfix to at least fix the transponder by eliminating 8's and 9's?

This is something that would require a lot more work than a simple hotfix patch.

Thanks for your excitement though! :)

Can you advise if this is actively being corrected? I flew this lovely aircraft today online and was incredibly challenged when given frequency changes. Let me just say, don't do it when hand flying the airplane. I found that it took an average of 35-40 seconds to get the appropriate frequency tuned. It doesn't sound like much but when you can't see out your windows or even see you gauges, it seems like an eternity. I'm dealing with the transponder having unnecessary numbers but would still love to see that fixed.

Jim's latest reply still stands.
