JGregory
OK, here's a HotFix for the "Nearest Airports" bug in Version 1.5.2Open X-Plane and the CorvalisIn your menu bar at top, select Plugins > Gizmo64 > Windows > HotFixYou will be asked to enter in your HotFix ID. Copy and paste in the following: a266860141f433c60dc7bca97bbf33a0Click 'Update'Once it has downloaded and installed, click 'Reboot' and you'll be done!I would recommend you reload the aircraft.NOTE: Optionally, you can just re-download and run the installer for the Corvalis and it will install the aircraft including the HotFix. Hobelflieger
The hotfix fuction of Gizmo is very nice! Better to make a hotfix then waiting several weeks. Best greets Dirk
Cameron
You didn't have to wait several weeks anyhow. The installer was released at the same time.
Hobelflieger
Hi Cameron, ok, another try: The hotfix function of Gizmo is very nice! (And I don't think to the DC-3-update waiting-time - ) The bug-fixing and updates from X-Aviation gets better and better, really! Best greets and thanks, Dirk Edited March 15, 2014 by Hobelflieger
sqrt(-1)
You didn't have to wait several weeks anyhow. The installer was released at the same time. I do like the Gizmo hotfix capability, as it makes it a foolproof method to update the correct files. Just curious. Does the same re-downloading of the aircraft installer after a hotfix apply to the Saab v1.1 as well?
Ben Russell
Just curious. Does the same re-downloading of the aircraft installer after a hotfix apply to the Saab v1.1 as well? No. HotFix is designed as a means to update script assets only. No artwork assets can be updated via a HotFix at this time. Packaging requirements for an official release will affect the update rate for each official installer. The availability of a HotFix does not automatically indicate that the Official Installer has been updated at the time of HotFix release.
