flydav Posted January 22, 2014 Report Posted January 22, 2014 (edited) I was very surprised yesterday on my last flight I had these black clouds showing up again last time I had these it was v1.0. These black clouds were not only at dawn or sunset but even when the sun was high, HDR was off as usual for me. I tried to deactivate and reactivate silver lining with no results then I changed the time of the day via the key L and the clouds changed to white but not for a long time, infact when I landed they switched to black. Cameron Posted January 22, 2014 Report Posted January 22, 2014 Something is wrong there. We definitely did not introduce them again. Is this now happening every sim session or just this once? Quote
sundog Posted January 22, 2014 Report Posted January 22, 2014 The simulated time and location of your flight may be relevant if you could provide that for us. Quote
JohnMAXX Posted January 22, 2014 Report Posted January 22, 2014 (edited) Were you messing with the config.txt or any other resources inside the plugin folder by any chance? What I noticed during development is if you mess with any of the resources while the sim is running you will get this effect, if you were you will need to restart X-Plane for this to go away.... flydav Posted January 22, 2014 Author Report Posted January 22, 2014 No that was the first time that happened, the simulated time was around 9am location was LIMJ. I haven't messed around with anything during the flight but I was experiencing very low fps during the whole flight and when I tried disabling silver lining the fps was doubling up. This was my first flight with the SAAB and SMP together, I will let you know if this happens again. Quote
JohnMAXX Posted January 22, 2014 Report Posted January 22, 2014 (edited) Cool yeah I cannot reproduce this effect unless I mess with the resources..........May be something else at play.... Let me play around with the Saab and skymaxx a bit..... Edited January 22, 2014 by JohnMAXX Quote
