This has 3 files, when I launch ‘setup-osx’ I get a message below. ‘setup-osx’ can‘t be opened because it is from an unidentified developer. Am I doing something wrong? I have sent issue to ‘enquiry x-aviaton’ No response.Derek, I use a Mac too and their recent operating systems have some built in security features that prevent opening of products from sources not known to the system. However, all you need to do is RIGHT CLICK the application and it will then give you an OPEN option. Then click OPEN and it will proceed as normal. No amount of manipulaton of the +/- circle will change to make an adjustment. 2. The left magneto switch will not switch at all. No amount of manipulation of the +/- circle will allow a switch to any function, L, R, or Both. The right magneto switch will (after much playing around) switch to both, but it does not take effect (switch movement) on the first try. Its a hit and miss situation with the right magneto switch. 3. The igniton toggle now works properly and will toggle each time it is initiated. It will sound odd but looking at the cockpit as I do in the attached picture (not frontally to the instruments), let the knobs working 2. magneto switchs. All is working here. Maybe you forget the correct procedure. Mixture full rich, left (or right) magneto on and then ignition. Repeat the same for the other engine. Angelo EDIT: no way to upload picture. Cameron Posted December 17, 2013 Author Report Share Posted December 17, 2013 As has been addressed above, ALL the knobs mentioned here "not working" do indeed work. X-Plane has always had a very finicky manipulator animation system, and angles of camera play a big role in that. Sometimes a plus value will go negative, but then you adjust the angle of the camera and the value will go back to normal as intended. Rule of thumb being...if you have an issue, adjust camera view (even a slight view adjustment). We will look into fine tuning this a bit more with custom code. Laminar has confirmed this as a known X-Plane bug since version 9 now. It has to do with 3D space calculation. I still cannot operate the magneto switches. I changed the view on these switches, from above, from both sides, but I still cannot get them to move. I'm running X-plane 10.25 (64 bit) with the DC-3 V1.4. I'm now at a point of getting a bit frustrated. However, the quick fix is this: Delete the folder: X-Plane/resources/plugins/Gizmo64.plugin/firmware/extensions/FileBrowser FileBrowser is just convenience utility that no payware product relies on at this point, deleting it should get you going again and sometime in future we can address why you're seeing the error at all. The "undefined function" errors however remain. Especially a missing OnMouseClick function sounds suspect as what I'm experiencing is that when I click the mouse on the magneto switches noting happens. frisone Posted December 23, 2013 Report Share Posted December 23, 2013 OK, the magneto switches are operable now! I'm not sure what started them to function. Partly this may be my ignorance, I didn't expect I had to move the mouse and move it that far to operate the switch, but I have tried that without success earlier. A note in the documentation might be helpful! The only remaining issues now are the autopilot buttons. The on/off switch is still inoperable as are the roll and pitch knobs. The yaw knob is the only knob that I'm able to rotate,I discovered that a key can be a assigned to some LES/DC3 items and when I assign a key to the item "LES/DC3/ignition button" I can operate the ignition switch with a key (as I can by a mouse click). However after assigning a key to e.g. "LES/DC3/roll left" I cannot operate the button with that key. Are these the items indeed meant to control the knobs?
