Guys... I think this update is huge.  Im 2 minutes into my first 1.1 test flight and I had to pause to make this post.

4xFXAA+FSAA, Very High Tex settings flying in the Carenado C90.. heavy detailed cockpit. 0% visibility, pure grey out the windows using 6000 feet of cumulus sct. 30 FPS. Max SMP cloud detail and distance maxed.

SMP is no longer the source of your FPS problems.  God Ray test update imminent..

JohnMAXX - genius status.

You can't know how hard I laugh when I see the org.ers stuck with their old ugly faggy clouds...

Nahah ah

Charcoal flavored mashed potatoes....

This new cloud addon, is great, isn't it?  Nice to see X-Plane screenshots, in which the clouds add to the scene, instead of detract.

Aw sheesh ya'll I couldnt help myself. The illustrious SkyMAXX Pro 1.1 update shots

Enjoy cause I did.

4xFXAA+FSAA all the way, very high tex, high distance view. Edit: shadows still on overlay. HD mesh v2 and photoscenery from Interlaken, Switz. Flying the Carenado C90B.. FPS heavy cockpit and textures plus its fast as f***. SkyMAXX Pro settings are maxed out. Im SkyMAXXED for real.

(except puff rotation is default like 5% and god ray 80%)

I dont know if this really happened or not.  Is this actually real life?

I cant.. I doesnt seem..  could it possibly?

No, there isnt.. how can it...

but it is!

ALL PROPS TO JOHNMAXX

As always click to enlarge to full resolution.

Shaking in my slippers. (fyi this no more than 10 minutes worth of flying and tweaking)

Can someone show "bad weather" in skymaxx. Some stratus clouds rain and low visibility... multiple cloudlayers and so on. Never saw anything of that category up to now!

Thanks!

I'll second that.  I'm really interested in buying this, but curious to see a greater range of its capabilities.

Cheers, thanks for posting those!  That shot with the low visibility towards a low sun looks very real; I know from experience that landing towards a low sun on a hazy day can be pretty hair-raising...

Thanks!

The first two are 1.0 and the seccond two are 1.1. I'm impressed you can pick out the difference, I must say that 1.1 runs a lot smoother though. Thanks for the update!

We spent soooooooo much time looking at these clouds ;)
