Michael_Chang
I find that B747 Classic package is great and totally wort the 20$ now if you want a really crappy payware plane just go and look at Peters DC-8-71 that he sells for 12$, now that is outdated, the 7 B747's are far from outdated. I'm done.

Nicola_M
Wow, that's a paintjob and a half. Looks like someone had their work cut out to make that one. I like....
Gjalp
Hi SerriaTango, I have the DC 8 and thinks its fine, compared to the B747 Classic its more than that offering in terms of panel and model. I bought the original when it was made by Michael Wilson (I also have the 707 series as well and these are great also). We need to define "crappy".....in my terms its a plane that has been dragged u-p from XP8 and "made" to work in XP10....these are crappy. Also, when are developers going to add AO maps to their cockpits???? It doesnt need to be over the top, just a hint so that the new lighting effects in XP10 can be "better", by this I mean there still needs to be "darks" put in the shdow areas (Im an artist so I see in light and dark when painting.....), to enhance the overall visual appreance. Just my NZ$0.02 worth Slainte. AndyNZCH

XPJets really are artists, considering how old that plane is. When the payware is released one day I will be a very happy man!

Ryan M.
That is your opinion, and honestly that is your opinion about almost every plane. How would you know that, when you've been a member since yesterday? Oh by the way, I know who you are.

Nicola_M
I wish screenshots would give us more rotor blur. To take a similar shot with a camera you'd use something like 1/250s to 1/500s to freeze the rotors. I'd use a slower speed to get the disk in blur, but it's a pity xplane's screenies don't do that. Ryan M.
Oh no it's definetly him. He isn't taking any outside screenshots, conveniently. Also, he still says "ideal" instead of "idea."

BWolf7
Back to the topic... Brought out my AS350 for a nice flight over EDLK. Scenery is amazing, freeware by ksgy. You can grab Egelsberg Feild here: http://x-plane.hu/edlk/ Rolling her out of the hanger, onto the grassy strip (underlays are BEAUTIFUL). Click the images for full size! Took off and made a nice loop around the feild. Farmland and forests as far as the eye can see. Spotted the helipad. I'll stop at the cafe' when I'm down. ...Flare! Overall I would rate this small airfeild 5/5. Amazing underlays and neat objects. Will definitely make more stops at Egelsberg!

steven winslow
Looks like you could benefit from a sweet little plugin called Clear Skies. It gets rid of the "fog" momentarily or always. At least it would make your screenshots more interesting rather than looking like you've exceeded minimums. http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=1728 - Mac http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=3580 - PC
