How do you do it?

Windows 7

Blender 2.64

I have python 3.22 installed in "Program files (x86)"

There is a folder called "Blender Scripts" in "Program files (x86)"

I also tired putting the scripts into the Blender "Addons" folder

I also tried using the "install option" that was in the scripts.

Instructions I tried following- https://github.com/der-On/XPlane2Blender

Can anyone help?

okay, i use blender 2.49, and if you download the scripts, you need to find the command line file, with the ending .cmd, i believe if you click that, it'll run a command that automatically installs the scripts, but htat's just on a mac, not on PC

That's what I meant by this-

I also tried using the "install option" that was in the scripts.

If memory serves me right, after downloading and placing a script, there is a settings pane you need to configure to tell where scripts are located. This was the way it is in 2.49 at least. I am not totally sure on 2.64, but may be the same there as well.

I only know of the "User Preferences" where you turn on the addon, but it's not showing up there.

If the scripts won't install using the CMD file, simply copy and paste them into the correct folder.

See the screenshot I posted below.

If you installed the default Blender scripts in a different location, just look for the /.blender/scripts folder

The screenshot I attached is the default location when installing Blender

Tried it. Didn't seem to work.

What python are you running?

Does it matter where python is installed?
