chris k Posted December 9, 2012 Report Posted December 9, 2012 Ive only ever been able to get it to work using the exact same version on both ends. This includes within the XP10 series. I just tried using 10.11 and 10.20 together - no go. I also tried 10.20 beta5 and 10.20 beta6 - no go. - CK. Quote

Jordan P. Posted December 9, 2012 Report Posted December 9, 2012 Too bad is there a way you could ask LR if they could add that feature or is it too late? Quote
chris k Posted December 9, 2012 Report Posted December 9, 2012 Yeah good idea. Remlap you should ask LR. Quote
Ben Russell Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 Don't bother asking. This is standard practice across nearly all games. Been on XBox live or PlayStation network lately? If you're not playing the latest patch then multiplayer is simply not available and you're signed out when the game starts. If you want cross version multiplayer use PilotEdge. 1 Quote
Jordan P. Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 Okay... On pilot ede can you actually see the other plane with detail? Quote
steven winslow Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 (edited) Okay... On pilot ede can you actually see the other plane with detail? On PilotEdge, as long as you have the correct CSL files, you will be able to see a representation of the aircraft your buddies are flying regardless of whether they are flying V10, V9.7 or even FSX. NetFlight does the same thing as long as your buddies have the same aircraft that you can load into your aircraft and situations setup. On NetFlight, if you have the same livery as your friend's aircraft, you can actually see them in that livery. NetFlight does not use CSL's. X-FlightServer and VATSIM use CSL's just like PilotEdge.
