IronCroptop
Just upgraded my DA40NG to the 1.1.0 release. Aircraft activation went off without a hitch and I can load into a new flight. But as soon as I attempt to popout either the G1000 PFD or MFD, X-Plane crashes pretty much immediately. I've disabled all plugins (except for Gizmo) to no avail. Therefore, we can't read much into it. Additionally, you cancelled the crash report upload, so we cannot coordinate with Laminar to see who really is to blame. I did, indeed cancel that particular crash upload -- this log.txt was from the fourth or fifth time that XP crashed. I did submit crash reports to LR on the first three crashes though. Cameron
It is useless to me without the UUID's of the previous upload(s). Your actual user info is not submitted, so I cannot reference anything.
IronCroptop
Here's another log.txt. Submitted the crash report to LR as well. Not that this information will be meaningful or useful in any way but this is _only_ happening with this DA40NG. My TorqueSim SR22TN can pop out the PFD and MFD without issue as can all of my Aerobask aircraft. Log.txt
Cameron
Having consulted with Laminar and with @Coop after seeing the data in the submission to Laminar, it doesn't appear this crash belongs to us. I suspect Laminar will be on it at some point. EDIT: After speaking more to Laminar it seems both of us had a bug contributing to this. We are fixing our side, and they'll be fixing theirs. IronCroptop
I haven't had a chance for an extensive flight but I did a quick test with the latest X-Plane beta (12.1.2b1) and the crash to desktop when popping out the G1000 PFD/MFD on this aircraft appears to be fixed. I didn't see anything in the XP release notes that specifically matched this issue but there were a couple of crash fixes listed so I'm hopeful. Will do an extended test after work today to see if the crash is truly gone. EDIT: Nope. I was wrong. The crash still happens. Guess I just got lucky on that first, short test. Coop
We've identified the issue and will be rolling out an update within the next week
Mustag7
I just bought the DS40NG, version 1.1.0, but the problem described in the post (Xplane 12 crashes, after clicking on the G1000) is still there. How can it be solved??
Cameron Posted yesterday at 04:36 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 04:36 PM You cannot resolve this on your own. It will be fixed in the next update.
