Hi,

Suggest a restart after install and activation

For me …

DL and installed XP 12 version

Started XP12

loaded IXEG 733

X-aviation licensing box came up entered info

acft would not work

shut down xp12

restarted

IXEG working fine ( sounds and all)

my experience

Thanks for the tip - I think the goal is to have this working without the restart, but as with all things "computer" - a restart often miraculously helps (I flew Airbus for a while :P)

Cheers - I think it is almost more an x-aviation licensing issue than an acft specific issue, I know a few others actually get you to reload through the plug-in after install 767 is one I think. As an ATC I see many an Airbus just ‘needing a couple of minutes to do a reset’ on the apron!

Especially embarassing if you are standing in the way with 5 other guys waiting for pushback and you can´t taxi out yet because you have to do an ELAC reset

Agree.  What is frustrating however is that I can't change in-game to another aircraft, and return to IXEG.  Load again, but no way to startup again..  Have to exit sim completely every time and then restart.  Starting State not functioning properly. Utterly frustrating!

Interesting - first time I heard about this problem. Make sure that you have selected the "Engines running" checkbox in the X-Plane aircraft selection GUI for the IXEG 737.

Which plane are you changing to before going back to the IXEG?

What is the proper procedure when using a Starting State?  I enter the sim, choose IXEG B733, set Starting State and then have to exit the sim completely...

To answer your question:

1) Laminar default C172 Skyhawk.

2) "Engines running" checkbox does not work for me too.

I set Starting State to Cold&Dark and then have to exit sim and return for it to work.

Same with "Ready to Fly".  Exit and return.

Will check "Turnaround" state.

Can you post your log.txt here, please?

Tried again.

Set Start State yesterday, when exiting sim, to C&D.  Cockpit OK when I entered today.  Able to start up.

Set state to Ready to Fly.  Set "Engine Running".  All switches ON but cockpit dead.  See screenshot.

Set state Turnaround.  Set "engines Running".  Still nothing.

Will have  to exit and hope for state to function on return.

OK.  I'll wait.  "pensioners got lots of time" :).  Old saying in South Africa:  "Pensioners are not necessarily bad drivers.  They just got lots of time". :P

At 74 started way back in the 1990's on flight sim.  A 7" floppy disk back then.

I can not WAIT to get there!  Me and the wife used to live in a seaside town with lots of "snowbirds", folks who'd come down for the winter and drive horribly slow.  I said then,  " I can't wait till I can do that and enjoy it"

Hello. I'm having some issues with the updated version for X-Plane 12, i have restarted after the install & activating the license key.  The Aircraft has no power, selecting Battery does nothing, neither does selecting a state or changing any setting. the aircraft simply refuses to power up in any way, even disabling plugins to see if there was a conflict did nothing, would you mind offering some help ? thank you
