David E Posted September 6, 2023 Report Posted September 6, 2023 I have the same situation, and there’s no Rosetta box to tick. Not sure what’s next. Quote

David E Posted September 7, 2023 Report Posted September 7, 2023 Yes, it's a 2021 MacBook Pro with the M1 Pro chip. Here's the log.txt from just now... Thanks!Log.txt Quote

David E Posted September 8, 2023 Report Posted September 8, 2023 And is Get Info something I can choose from a drop down menu? Quote

David E Posted September 11, 2023 Report Posted September 11, 2023 Here's my Get Info and another shot of the macbook's attributes. Thanks for helping Pils. David Quote

David E Posted September 11, 2023 Report Posted September 11, 2023 Oh my gosh, I can't believe it was that simple. The shortcut "Get Info" didn't have the rosetta checkbox, but the one in the directory did. I checked it and now the G5s are working after a sign-in. Pils, thank you so much!! You are the champ. 1 Quote
David E Posted September 12, 2023 Report Posted September 12, 2023 Hey is there any way to make the 430 GPS selected course automatically move to the OBS in the bottom G5? Right now I have to set the course independently on the OBS after I start a flight plan. Thanks! Quote
Coop Posted September 13, 2023 Report Posted September 13, 2023 Yes, you need to enable the option for the GPS DTK to be automatically set. This setting needs to be set in Plane Maker for the aircraft being used, Systems -> Auto Adjust CDI to GPS DTK. 1 Quote

David E Posted September 16, 2023 Report Posted September 16, 2023 Hi Cooper, I can’t find where I need to be in Plane Maker. I’ve drilled down through the files in Plane Maker and tried to “Open” the x-aviation G5 172, but I can’t get any to open in plane maker and I can’t find anything called Systems. Sorry for being a newb but I am. I’ve looked through the G5 documentation but I can’t find anything that addresses how to get the GPS DTK setting changed. Working in MacOS, thank you for any help.
