Crz alt FL190

Had to manually update cruise to FL380, then did a self direct BAZAS TOSGA maintaining FL380. Entered the hold one lap at XEMDU then vectors.

Hello, I've logged this now. For reference, your cruise was never FL190, your cruise is always the highest level specified in your flight plan. Don't take what Simbrief puts in the little box, take it from the OFP.

Thanks

Appreciate it wasn’t really FL190 and the short lower airway leg wasn’t long enough to put in FL190 but that’s what I would always do when it comes to step climbs. OFP steps were LPFR/0190/NAPES/0380 and then I didn’t bother with the yo-yo by going direct.

I put in my first level as the cruise then update when ready to step, pretty much what you're doing. 190 is an unusual level to stop at, I would skip anything below 300 personally. Just Simbrief being Simbrief!

Sounds sensible, far too sensible for a eurocontrol validated route  airways are so last century!
