Prosco Posted March 30, 2021 Report Posted March 30, 2021 (edited) Hello, Hello, I am following the checklist and I am thinking of doing the entire T / O procedure and despite everything when I start taxiing I have the "Config" alarm which sounds but I do not know why. I recorded this phase by video ((watch in 1080), it lasts 1 minutes : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1vrrVf54BuAyCFPJY_AOEzi2dw_saxwgM/view?usp=sharing If anyone could help me that would be really nice. Thanks in advance. Edited March 30, 2021 by Prosco Quote
mgchrist5 Posted March 30, 2021 Report Posted March 30, 2021 (edited) Just a quick guess on my part, but it looks like you have flaps 7 selected. I believe flaps 7 takeoffs are not approved for Saabs....they can either be flaps 0 or 15. That might be triggering your CONFIG alarm. EDIT: Sorry, please disregard. I tried a quick test on my end and flaps 7 did not trigger the config alarm. Must be something else that I'm missing. Hopefully someone else will be able to assist you. JGregory Posted March 30, 2021 Report Posted March 30, 2021 Your condition levers are less than 83˚. Set them to MAX. 1 Quote
SupraJari Posted March 31, 2021 Report Posted March 31, 2021 (edited) Also make sure your trim is set correctly. I've had this when doing touch and go's when trim has been out of green area. Edited March 31, 2021 by SupraJari Quote
Prosco Posted March 31, 2021 Author Report Posted March 31, 2021 @JGregory - Thank you, I will test. @SupraJari - Thank you but Watch the video at 00:57 - trim is set correctly. Quote

For one thing you still have the ground OP button selected but the TO inhibit button above just silences unneccesary alarms, still looking Quote
JGregory Posted March 31, 2021 Report Posted March 31, 2021 Guys... you can see in the video that the Condition Levers are set @ 82˚... that WILL set off the alarm. Quote
