cruizer1 Posted March 30, 2020 Report Posted March 30, 2020 (edited) 1. The Saab Tool Tray does not appear when I move the cursor to the right of the screen. Only the short Gizmo menu appears. 2. If I select the checklist from the Gizmo64 List under Plugins, where I see all of the Saab checklist windows listed, the camera does not move to the related item when I press View Edited March 30, 2020 by cruizer1 Quote
JGregory Posted March 30, 2020 Report Posted March 30, 2020 (edited) It sounds like the Saab scripts are not running. Please post your Log.txt and GizmoLog.txt files here so we can review them. Edited March 31, 2020 by JGregory Quote
cruizer1 Posted March 31, 2020 Author Report Posted March 31, 2020 I don't know anything about these files except that it looks like there may be a License problem. If that's it, I never received a license. I did see that the x-Aviation license was validated when I ran the program. Log.pdf GizmoLog.pdf Quote
JGregory Posted March 31, 2020 Report Posted March 31, 2020 I am unable to open the Log file, please post the original .txt files. Quote
JGregory Posted March 31, 2020 Report Posted March 31, 2020 Your Log.txt file is 151mb, which is extremely large and mostly due to the plugin Airport Navigator writing messages to the Log. You are running a LOT of plugins as well, some of which are showing errors. You system is on the lower end of recommended specs. You cannot run unlimited amounts of scenery and plugins. Normally we would suggest you remove your plugins (except Gizmo) and see if that resolves the problem. However, due to the extent of the plugins and scenery you are running I would suggest you download the X-Plane demo, install the Saab in the demo, run the Saab and see if the problem persists, and then report back here. cruizer1 Posted March 31, 2020 Author Report Posted March 31, 2020 (edited) I moved all of the plugins so that none show in the Plugin list when I run x-plane. I the Gizmo64 shown in the list , all of the Saab items show under Windows in Gizmo64. Still no Tool Tray. Here are the revised logs. (Also, loading a new x-plane for testing didn't work because I got an error in x-plane saying the x-Aviation is already on my machine. ) I really do want this to work!!!!! GizmoLog.txt Log.txt You still have plugins installed and several custom scenery packages that have plugins as well. I strongly suggest you download the demo and install the Saab in the demo. That will provide a completely clean installation that we can work from. Quote
cruizer1 Posted April 1, 2020 Author Report Posted April 1, 2020 I downloaded a fresh x=plane and installed Saab. Still, no Tool Tray appeared. I am about to ask for a refund from X-Aviation unless you have any further suggestions. Thanks for your help so far! Quote
Goran_M Posted April 1, 2020 Report Posted April 1, 2020 Do you have any kind of anti virus running? Quote
cruizer1 Posted April 2, 2020 Author Report Posted April 2, 2020 Nope...I'm at a loss. I would love to he'sr from other Mac Catalina users. Quote
cruizer1 Posted April 2, 2020 Author Report Posted April 2, 2020 After trying many fixes to get Saab Tool Tray to work, I now can not get any of my plugins to work. Any ideas? Quote
Goran_M Posted April 2, 2020 Report Posted April 2, 2020 (edited) Catalina user right here. Toolbar visible. If your other plugins have stopped working, that is an almost 100% certainty that the problem is on your PC. Gizmo does not interfere in any way with other plugins. So if they have stopped working, it looks like some kind of permissions issue on your Mac. Edited April 2, 2020 by Goran_M Quote

Ben Russell Posted April 2, 2020 Report Posted April 2, 2020 You need to contact X-Aviation support directly to resolve this. http://www.x-aviation.com/catalog/contact_us.php? We will reply as soon as we are able and will endeavor to reply within 3 days, but usually quicker. Please do not send multiple e-mails or this will delay our response to you! Quote
