I never noticed this problem at least prior to updating to XP 11.20+. I have high engine oil temp in flight, in cruise it's right on the red bar, and it even exceeds that in the climb. Last night I noticed it and diverted, trying to keep relatively low power settings as much as possible. Right now I've been in the cruise for roughly 10 minutes with no engine failures yet. But I'm curious if this is a bug as I don't have any active failures and it's the second day/flight in a row it has happened.

We don´t really drive the engine oil temperature, it is default X-Plane. We have overriding this on our list, but so far we are just taking the default X-Plane value (which is obviously a bit high in XP11).

Just ignore the high temp for now, it won´t hurt your engine at all.

Cheers, Jan

No. Just disregard the high oil temperature for now - I will personally guarantee that the engines of the IXEG 737 do not take damage from that.
