Kieran Posted January 25, 2012 Author Report Posted January 25, 2012 (edited) Just taken the dust off the old Saab.Added some details here and there, upgraded some areas with parts from previous versions.Still a fair bit of work to go, but I will continue work when I can. (school starts next tuesday) There are details I need to put in everywhere, there are bits missing from the cockpit, and it needs some serious mesh optimisations.CheersKieran(please excuse the graininess of some of the renders, I don't have all day to render images)[EDIT] picture removed. derek Posted January 25, 2012 Report Posted January 25, 2012 Looks quality work you have. Good luck Quote
Kieran Posted January 27, 2012 Author Report Posted January 27, 2012 Modelling is nearing completion.Might be a bit easier to fly now with the addition of a yoke and rudder pedals. Quote
jamesbaby286 Posted January 27, 2012 Report Posted January 27, 2012 After the release of this aircraft do you think you would be able to create a SAAB 340 from it? Because it would be nice if you could, both planes are very similar. Quote
Kieran Posted January 27, 2012 Author Report Posted January 27, 2012 There is already a great Saab 340 being produced. And it would still require a large amount of work. It is harder to do than people think. Quote
steven winslow Posted January 27, 2012 Report Posted January 27, 2012 jamesbaby286, apparently you have missed this whole section of the forums:http://forums.x-pilot.com/index.php/forum/77-saab-340/ Quote
jamesbaby286 Posted January 27, 2012 Report Posted January 27, 2012 I have little idea as to how I missed that. Thanks for raising my awareness! Quote
steven winslow Posted January 28, 2012 Report Posted January 28, 2012 It will be interesting to see which one comes out first....the 2000 or the 340. The release of the 340 has been "imminent" for quite some time now..... Quote
Kieran Posted January 28, 2012 Author Report Posted January 28, 2012 The 2000 was started way back in 2009/10. I guess it will depend mostly on if I choose to program systems. I'm looking into it at the moment. Quote
