FizzyAviation Posted August 2, 2016 Report Posted August 2, 2016 Hi all, I have been looking at the IXEG 737 and it says no requirements in the description for purchase. Could someone tell me the system requirements for this plane and or tell me if it is a heavy plane or if it runs pretty well. And also I run SkyMaxx pro v3 and I get about 23-30 FPS with flight factor 777. Thanks -Fizzy 1 Quote
TDPlane Posted August 2, 2016 Report Posted August 2, 2016 I guess you'll be fine ... The IXEG 733 plays nice on the FPS. Quote
jolmos Posted September 9, 2016 Report Posted September 9, 2016 In my computer (Qcore i5 4GB and AMD R9 380 2GB), with SkyMaxx Pro 3.3 I los 25-30% of FPS. I do not have this problem with others planes; for example, MD88 Rotate. 1 Quote
ibawbag Posted September 11, 2016 Report Posted September 11, 2016 (edited) For a study level plane also an airliner, the IXEG 737 is the lightest on frames. Superb! It's very surprising. Edited September 11, 2016 by ibawbag Quote
TDPlane Posted September 11, 2016 Report Posted September 11, 2016 I agree. The IXEG 737 has superb graphics and is easy on the FPS ... Quote
Yidahoo Posted September 13, 2016 Report Posted September 13, 2016 +1 Best optimised payware plane on X-Plane possibly on any platform. You should see better frames than the FF777 in my experience. Quote
TDPlane Posted September 13, 2016 Report Posted September 13, 2016 True this. On my rig, IXEG 733 outperformes the FF 777 by 2 - 4 frames ... Quote
jolmos Posted September 14, 2016 Report Posted September 14, 2016 Dear Friends. I apologize if my lousy English has failed to properly express the problem of "frames" I expressed. From what I have been able to verify on the Internet, I'm not the only driver who has experienced a significant drop in FPS when loading the IXEG. Obviously it is not my intention to discuss unnecessarily if we are few or many who have problems with IXEG FPS. I'm interested in solving this problem, for a very simple reason: the development of IXEG is - by far - the best simulated aircraft. As well it was expressed above, this development puts "accent" essentially flying: avionics and instruments. To the extent You can help me, I tell You the following extructura on my computer: Windows 7 - Service Pack 1 - 64 bit AMD Radeon R9 380 - 2 GB RAM 16 GB CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K - 3,4GB Memory: GDDR5 X-Plane 10.50 I followed, I believe that with more detail, the procedures suggested by X-Plane and various forums to get a Rendering Options settings appropriate to the highest level of FPS. I have also set the video card to the best possible resolution. No additional software to X-Plane and its plugins, when running the simulator does not operate. The addons scenerys are only approved by X-Plane.org. Rendering configuration Options: https://s21.postimg.org/y2fkw74d3/image.jpg By changing aircraft (MD88-Rotate, Baron 58, ...), the FPS grow significantly from the level reached with IXEG. Specifically, the B733-IXEG, I can not exceed 22-23 FPS; in contrast with the other desarrrollos they are reached 35-38 FPS. For these reasons, I thought that "weight" IXEG textures were influencing the FPS achieved; because, as I understand it (and still being infinitesimal expressions), the greater the weight of textures carries a greater effort to micro-processor; with the consequent result in the frame rate represented. Since already many grascias the help you can give me. From Argentina, I cordially greet Quote

Since already many grascias the help you can give me. From Argentina, I cordially greet I dont see why you are getting those fps. You have a good CPU and a descent GPU, overall its a good computer for running xplane 10. You say that the textures weight might be a problem, but that is barely imposible because the IXEG is very well optimized and you also have a video card with 2GB of VRAM which should handle more or less heavy textures. Having said that, in order to loose fps, the VRAM load must be arournd 1,5 gb or more. To confirm that VRAM is not the problem you have to do some tests. First, get MSI afterburner, it allows you to check the usage of different components from your computer. Second, run xplane with the IXEG 737 in the location of your choise. Finally, open MSI afterburner and look for the chart which says GPU memory usage on the right, It looks like this: Now you should be able to see the VRAM consumption. If it exceeds 1500 there is a problem (in your case). I recoment you to test different airplanes and locations to do comparisons. If this is not the case it might be something with your computer, or xplane (a plugin maybe). You can try reinstalling the IXEG or if that does not work, reinstall xplane. Hope you can solve your issue PD: if you want help written in spanish just send me a private message. Edited September 15, 2016 by Ricardo2696 Quote
Ben Russell Posted September 15, 2016 Report Posted September 15, 2016 (edited) We have thousands of happy customers that have no FPS troubles. The problem is your machine and your configuration. If we had a wide-spread issue with everyone complaining about FPS then we would have an issue to fix. We have one person. You. The problem is your computer and your settings not our product. Morten Posted September 15, 2016 Report Posted September 15, 2016 Could it be some antivirus or other 3rd party programs/plugins you have that might cause a conflict? Try disabling all other XP plugins and antivirus and see if things go back to "normal". Quote
K4bel123 Posted September 15, 2016 Report Posted September 15, 2016 @jolmos Do you use the IXEG built in view presets which can be found in the lower left hand corner of the screen? There have been various users (including me) who experienced a major drop in the fps when using these (don´t know if this has already been fixed because I´m currently not at my X-Plane computer ). If this isn´t the case I´d also recommend to check your Vram usage like Ricardo suggested. Otherwise I honestly don´t understand what´s going on with your machine because I´m getting awesome frames in any location with the IXEG 733 although I only have a normal rig (3.6 Ghz, Gtx 760 2gb, etc.). Muchos saludos de Alemania al otro lado del mundo, Jolmos Quote
jolmos Posted September 16, 2016 Report Posted September 16, 2016 (edited) I think you're right Ben Russell. But do not be angry because I asked, from my ignorance, if the problem may be that I have on my computer or on the product. If you read carefully what I wrote, I clearly expressed my satisfaction with IXEG. If any expression was not happy in my request for help, I apologize. If this occurred was only as a result of not being able to express myself well in English. Edited September 16, 2016 by jolmos Quote
jolmos Posted September 16, 2016 Report Posted September 16, 2016 "Ricardo 2696", "Mortem" and "K4bel123", thank You very much for being so generous in your explanations. I am in the process of following your suggestions. 2 Quote
