  4. I have problem with sound during replay. It is in all version of IXEG 737. My platform is Win 10 X-plane 10.45 and sound card chip Sound Blaster Z. The problem is jitter that appear when i activating replay mode.
  5. Dear IXEG team, I am having an issue that maybe related to your aircraft. I have Master and Slave computers, both running X-Plane 11.10 and IXEG latest version. Master: 3D cockpit view (PFD & ND mainly) (NVidia GTX1080) Slave: 3 screens with outside view without instruments (NVidia GTX 1080Ti) All the screens are connected to graphic cards with good quality HDMI/Display port cable. The slave center screen is the one activated for sound. When I increase throttle, there is a kind of metallic sound that disappears again when the engines reach full throttle. When airborn, as soon as I press "gear up", then there is a high frequency sound (a bit like an old days dial-up modem from the 90's) that doesn't stop. I have tried with the other 2 screens with same sound problem. I have tried with many standard planes from X-Plane without any sound problem. The sound on the master computer's screen is always fine. Any idea what this could be, or what I should try next? Thanks in advance. Cheers Sylvain
  6. Hey guys. My GPWS isn't playing any sounds. I can't hear the height callouts on approach, neither the overspeed "clac", when running the system test on the upper overhead.
  7. here are the steps: 1) Baterry on 2) connect ground power 3) turn on ground power 4) move "NO SMOKING" or "FASTEN SEATBELTS" switch into a different position until the respective sound plays result: you will probably hear, that by that step, the overall sound in the cockpit is getting reduced (volume) a little bit
  8. Hi guys, First thing, congrats for this amazing airplane! I love it! I would also point out that I cannot make work the X-Plane shortcut for the EFIS Zoom Range Up/Down. Is it only me? Could this shortcut be implemented in future updates within IXEG? I'm also missing the sound of the engine levers. Not sure if it's a bug or just that the sound doesn't exist at the moment. Thanks!
  9. Good day. There is not all switches on overhead sounded. For example IRS Allign switches, landing lights swithes and others. Pls. can you tell me, how can i fix it? Thank you.
  10. A newbie question again. How do I turn off the annoying chirping and flashing [AP] on the EFIS when I disengage the auto-pilot? It goes until I turn off the battery. JAR's a320 has a button that silences the warning. Thanks, Brad
  11. I have been experimenting with the function sound.position(sound_source_id, x, y, z). After many tests it looks lik only the y value changes the volume of the sound. I have als tried it with calling the openal function: al.Source(sound_source_id,al.POSITION,x,y,z)But using this function gives the same (wrong) result as the Gizmo function. What is going wrong here? I have test the audio-file in the OpenAL SDK and in that case changing x and y gives a desired effect. A second question: The x, y and z are related to world coördinates. But how long is a coördinate? (in meters?)
  12. I am learning more and more about Gizmo. I have been experimenting with a sound file. In the past I bought a sound package of Synchrosoft for FSX and I am trying to convert this to X-Plane. But there is a difference in the sounds via Gizmo/X-Plane and FSX. The FSX-sounds have a higher volume than X-Plane, but the volume differences differs at the different gain values. This causes an other sound character in X-Plane (the lower sounds are more pronounced than in X-Plane). Is there somebody wo experienced the same difference? Is there an easy method to compensate this differences? For FSX there is FS sound studio which I used to understand the settings of the FSX soundfiles. Is there a similar program/plugin for X-Plane?
  13. Some (more) questions about OpenAL and Gizmo: In the Gizmo folder there is an OpenAL32.dll. Why is the OpenAL32.dll of X-Plane not used? It looks like OpenAl32.dll of X-Plane is more recent. It looks like the functions sound.getcontrol() and sound.releasecontrol() are not needed anymore. Is this true? What is the difference between sound.load() and sound.loadEx() It looks like that not only the Gizmo sound functions are limited, but the OpenAL API in Gizmo is very limited too: It looks like that only the Listener and Source functions of OpenAL are implemented in the OpenAL API. The functions of Buffers, Errors, Context are not implemented. Also some functions of Source are not implemented: GenSources, DeleteSources, IsSource). What LUA binding is used for the OpenAL API?
  14. Is there a function in Gizmo to test if a sound is already playing?
  15. In the Gizmo API is explained that you must use sound.bind() before using sound.play. But why is the function sound.bind not documented in the list "API"? see: http://www.gizmo64.com/Gizmo64_API.htm#sound.load
  16. Brand new to this aircraft and will be curious about many things. Right off the bat, what is that occasional whining sound (like the flaps or gear moving) that lasts a few second? I was afraid I had brushed a switch or something. Thanks. Brad
  17. is there a tutorial or plug in to add sounds to aircraft and missles?
  18. In an ongoing effort to make our planes better, we not only want to improve what you see, but also what you hear. Today we took an important step in this process: We are proud to announce the collaboration with the leading provider of high-quality FSX sound packs, Turbine Sound Studios, in a joined effort to bring their astounding sounds into the world of X-Plane. Turbine Sound Studios is renowned in the FSX community for their highly acclaimed aftermarket sound packs for numerous jets, helicopters and turboprops and is also a winner of the simFlight award. With their first-ever appearance on X-Plane, Turbine Sound Studios is to provide a full range of engine, cockpit and environmental sounds for the JRollon CRJ-200, thus greatly enhancing your sim experience. Turbine Sound Studios also has a YouTube channel: http://www.youtube.c...er/mrsubmission As a first step towards a more immerse atmosphere, we are releasing an update to the CRJ-200 including two new custom plugin-driven sounds to ensure compatibility on Windows, Mac and Linux. The update will ship this week, together with corrections and bugfixes, as the second service pack to the CRJ. Cheers to all CRJ Pilots, Javier and Philipp from JRollon Planes Christoffer from TSS
