  1. Looking awesome guys!!!
  2. "Ha, I raised that once, ESP re. Scenery, and received deafening silence, either that or lots of top secret work happening. If Xp had more market, such ideas would be practical and times sped up. I'm not watching those videos- I'm flying it. Amazing stuff :-) I have yet to make an official announcement, as it hurts me and I don't want to lose contact with you great guys- but I can't see myself going back to xplane until 10 is released :-( there, I've said it here first, coz you all mean alot to me. That explains my recent inactivity at least.." Thanks for the announcement. In other news....
  3. That looks great. I think most will agree that phototextures look the best and most realistic. In terms of polygons/detail, adding doors, windows and trim is awesome if you can get away with it. Weighing how important an object is to a scene is key. I model doors and windows if the object in an intergal part of the scene. You can do some awesome stuff with normal maps. The corrugated metal and building trim would be great candidates for that. Also, are you doing this for XP9 or 10? That will make a difference in which way you go and anyone for that matter.
  4. Goran, Are you modeling in Blender?
  5. Time will tell. That said, I think you're very wrong in your assumption. Then again, what do I know? MatthewS must be a beta tester of the team. I wish he'd share his insider information.
  6. The guy's a crybabydouchebag. I bet he buys the CRJ anyway.
  7. Everything is already aligned and there is no need to "reset" the POS. Just enter, in your example KCLT, and roll on. Whether this is "real" or not I don't know.
  8. Are you starting from a cold and dark plane??
  9. Did you start the sim with the the nav's already aligned?
  10. I'm running the 5750 (I think). imacs are great but the CRJ puts it to the test!! I didn't know imacs had cpu fans.
  11. I got into XP with a default plane, then loaded the T-34 (I think) then loaded the RJ and it worked fine. Everything seems to be fine now.
  12. Here you go Javier. Mine crashes upon loading of aircraft. OSX 10.6.7 27" iMAC 2.8 GHZ i5 w/ 4g RAM and 1G w/ ATi 5750 No other plug-ins installed. Log.txt
  13. Unless developers keep projects under wraps, there is absolutely no way to prevent any consumer from being frustrated for having to wait. To me, new stuff comes out when it comes out. My life doesn't hinge on the release of the CRJ, MU-2, 737, et al. Different strokes, different folks but I'm sure many feel the way I do. It's part of the cost of doing business as far as I'm concerned and I don't think for one second that anyone involved here has pushed "hype" for the sake of hype.
  14. Me thinks someone is being too picky.
  15. I actually watched the video tutorial on this, I think. But then again, I've watched so many:)
  16. Which version of Blender are you going to be using in your tutorials? Hylan
  17. Nice airplane!!! It looks like us LW guys need to start learning Blender from the ground up. Do you have any idea when this feature is coming?
  18. Has anyone seen this type of error before when trying to open a custom scenery package? ASSERTION FAILED: sEnums[idx].domain == domain (src/WEDCore/WED_EnumSystem.cpp, 153.) Thanks!!
  19. lookin' good ;D
  20. The T34C was/is used for the primary phase of flight training. I feel sure it never went to the boat. The plane color scheme I remember seeing was white/orange.
