  2. Wow Chris at is awesome Its a little heavy on the frame rate but with all that detail it looks real Larry
  3. Is it possible to to make a demo version and burn it to a dvd from my bought version so I can pass it on to someone who might be interested in Xplane 10?
  4. I am going by the fact that 'zoltron_rulez' is going by pictures and videos and very little if no hands on experience .
  5. That also happens in the default King-air I pull back on the throttle and it goes into reverse . It works great for loosing altitude really quick  :o
  6. Good old Mouser they have been around for years lots of goodies for Ham operators to One of my other hobbies unfortunatly I live in an appartment so My radios are stored away . But I would like to build my own cockpit equipment someday I love soldering and kit building it would be a good way to combine the two!! Larry
  7. zoltron_rulez if you have such a problem with Xplane 10 Why do you even bother to hang around here
  8. Looking west toward CYVR
  9. I was to untill the games for windows live crap popped up URRRRRRGHH.
  10. Do you have HDR turned on?
  11. just out of curiosity how will the framerates be with the update ?
  12. Falco over Victoria BC at Night
  13. We have to remember though that Xplane 10 is first a flight simulator and the cloud simulation is secondary eye candy . This is a company that builds weather simulations and put all their efforts into building an awsome one Just as Austin builds an awsome Flightsim . I think that when you compare Xplane10 to FSX and Xplane9 He has done an exellent job with the WX.
  14. Im out of here
  15. Just wondering is mars not available on Xplane10 and also when I first downloaded the demo there where a couple of aircraft that where in the original but have since disapeared whats up I know one was Jason Chandlers Piper Malibu ?

  16. Plausible Plane Crash Just wondered if the AI aircraft are equipped with ELT's ?
  17. interesting but I thought the demo was limited to a small area of the pacific north west I did not realize you could load download and install the rest of the world into Demo how long did it take you ?
  18. Are you kidding reguarding the terrain see photos below The one with the Caranado Cessna 152 is taken in XPX the one with the Carenado Mooney is taken with FSX .I am using the Vancouver + addon which uses Holgars Mesh . And it is some of the best in FSX . But I find the XPX more realistic. also the cloud in this shot are not the default clouds they are a Hi def pack designed for FS9 .
  19. It would be interesting to just leave your simulator on and see how long it takes to get around the world
  20. now this is somthing you would never see in FSX realistic AI crash landings LOL . I had the flight simulator load me at the wrong end of langleys 2100 foot when I had one taxi out and take off towards me Yikes
  21. Just Finished Landing at Pitt Meadows Airport Near Vancouver when I saw the tail of a 747 bobing up and down just past some hangars in the Fraser river . While I was taxying over to get a screen shot of it . Another 747 teleported into the middle of a hangar and headed toward me . Unfortunatly I was to busy avoiding it to get a shot of it . Im just wondering if Capt Sully is now working for United LOL .
  22. Make sure that Austin does not see this the deer are bad enough
  23. Yes that can happen I use to fly on sunny days only in FS9 and FSX because of system limitations but with my new system I can run both with almost all sliders slid to the right and full WX . Not sure what you are running for computer but I can run up to 40+ FPS with out clouds but I get kncked back to 19-21 with full WX . You will just have to keep an eye on the NCIX weekly sales and may be upgrade your graphics card or somthing . It would be nice to be able to just keep upgrading every time new hardware came out but thats not allways possible . I have done to much upgrading this year so I will have to only dream of HD7970 unless I win the lottery LOL Larry
  24. Graham clouds have allways been the killer of frame rates in all flightsims Microsoft allways used extremly large high resolution files fore there clouds leading too a lot of modified cloud files that had been shrunk in size .
  25. High tech with with a little retro thrown in (the fan and the YETI mike) Now if you could only interface the fan with engine RPM data and place it behind the monitor for some wind for flying open cockpit aircraft .HiHi
