Congrats to all the team (Eric, Cameron, Ben & anyone else), I bought it today and am very impressed! Downloader worked perfectly. I'm a little underwhelmed by the night textures, but that's the only negative bit. Probably confusing xplane 10 with 9 capabilities. The day however - colours, the textures and terrain resolution are excellent! I'm posting a favourable review soon. Well done again. Simon

Yeah, Cameron's correct, keeping those 2 preferences when deleting the rest saves a heap of work. I can get this lock when using some dodgy G2xpl as well, but removing that fixes it. Still, on the odd occasion every few months, I'll have to delete my output preferences.

Ola,in my opinion gt5 full version is significantly better, ESP physics wise. Well worth it. I'm now finding it reasonably easy to generate money, especially as my Spec B driver now has an IQ above 85. He gets me $15k in 10 mins. I hope u can eventually win the $20m racecars! Damage progressively appears, I'm at level 15 and have seen a Ferrari bumper start to wobble. At level 40 it becomes carnage, so I'm a Long way from that. something nice to strive for. Im pleased they have made car acquisition harder and some of the features progressive. Once you get into Superbad and racecar league, the standard cars eventually feel pointless, and your humble Trueno gets mothballed. But with improved physics, hopefully that doesn't happen Online is obviously a great addition. But I'm the first to complain about it's ghastly filtering system, I'd love to enter a race for pre-80s under 200hp bombs but good luck.. I hardly played prologue, very disappointed with it. The full is another story Great news about Forza 4! Wish I had a 360 now. Not to be for me, unless it has a massive advantage over gt5, and then Id be pissed at wasting money on GT! Good for competition though.

Confirmed, no head effects on landing. You can use trackir to emulate that. Everything is that much harder, part of the challenge/fun

"I prefer a Miata or an S2000." - The whole point about the Trueno is it's so bad, it's good. Horrible styling, poverty pack, but good basic rear wheel drive. In GT1, it was the only real option to buy if you wanted to start well. So it just holds fond memories for me. Wait till you see what I've done to it. Beautiful bunny hops by the way. Planned I'm sure... "Stop lookin at me"

Great vid Airbus, I'll watch it all, being a shuttle enthusiast. So sad its dead. I remember watching Crippen and Young (what a legend he was!) in the first launch LIVE and still have many paper clippings from that time. Yes I'm baking another vid for u right now, this time of the Trueno, close to many veterans' hearts..

Just tried the humble Sprinter Trueno, its better than I remember with the improved physics, crazy vid coming. Stock @ 128 hp, then blown to 228 with no grip improvements

Thanks Kaph, gawd all I need is another sim! Don't have a wheel though. Can't believe how expensive a good one is, better off spending that sort of cash on a new flight stick. Each to their own I spose, just like flight simming, ESP if u like getting your name on leaderboards. I'm long past that. In fact right now I'm concentrating on the older quirkier cars, like the fabled Sprinter Trueno! Few of my cars would be competitive, being too old or overtuned. My 200hp 76 Golf is a hoot, front wheel drive!

Thanks for the Makinen video Indi. For a rally driver he was very smooth, few sideways movements, as that loses time. Pity about the exposure, hard to see the road. Agree, rally drivers have the biggest cahunas, no whimpy runoffs for them! Might have time to post my lap vid tonight- I lost it more than twice, so I think with practice sub 2:20 is possible, but it's hard to keep that composed for that long, in my condition At least

I use a controller too, no setup tweaks though, and not manual, I'm too unco for that. Might give it a go, sounds like I need to.
