Wow, fond memories! I flew microprose flight simulator for the Amiga back when it came in those snazzy shiny grey (?) boxes with huge documentation. Come to think of it, did majority of simming on the amiga 500, then only sporadically after, as pcs were so expensive, till 2004 when I got my first home pc. Even then it was too crap for my liking. Played F18 interceptor to death, watch this and laugh at how bad it was, looking back. But back then, it felt incredible. The zoom from the global view to the high res plane!

I was just experimenting with Garageband for ipad (it just works for the 1), an amazing app for $5.99. So what better to go with some new 'music' (be kind, it was my first go!), than the beautiful Oahu. Great job with the coastline/water transition Eric!

Pilot radioed for emergency vehicles....and new undies for all the passengers! My what a jolt. You know that mad rush for the overhead lockers, where obnoxious passengers get up before the plane's stopped. That won't happen as much now. A380- big, ugly and now a bully. Outta my way little plane!!

Good that you're asking Ola. Given the incredible quality of some of the freeware out there, you just need to beat that and have a popular location. Im fascinated with the new Columbian scenery, but I'm not buying it as I'd never fly there or recognize the items. I recently bought Tom Curtis' Boeing airports, 4 for $24. I'm reviewing it. I would not normally buy it, as I don't know the area that well and am not a true Boeing fanboy who knows the facilities. His work is massive, like his other large area packages. So good value for roughly $6 each. But bad value as I'll rarely use it. If your scenery is as amazing and magical as Javier's Donateware LESA, I might pay as much as I donated to his. I have filmed/flown there so many times, and still see that as the benchmark to beat. Or Cork EICK? and that is free too. So price point will be very important.

Glad u said it emin, I guessed that from the textures, but figured Cameron would make an announcement imminently. Guess it'll happen today! What airport is it? Doubtful. And it's not any conversion. I've used parts of the scenery to construct my own scenery for that airport and they have the EXACT same objects and textures, they are unmistakable. I suspect you are working with the company it is from to make their FS sceneries for XP.

Arnaud has asked that I not feed the Troll, so I won't. I'm talking to Arnaud here- Ignore this person. As a freeware scenery dev (part time) I know full well the huge effort it takes to provide us with great addons. And I know scenery is easy compared to planes! I'm not getting bogged down in technical details, I'll leave that to you, but most of us find the 17 slow and cumbersome, just how you would imagine. It seems right to me. If people like fj made these types of comments every time someone did a freeware item, there would be no freeware items! Maybe that is its intention...

They are pro shots, particularly the timing and composition! Ok, really good equipment can make a difference, like an ultra bright lens, but your timing has produced some lovely shots. U saw the f22 in flight, they only had it shut down and surrounded by guards/dogs at Melbourne, a great impression that made

Thanks Kesomir! I'll give it a try. Last time I tried an emulator, it was more bother than it was worth. This sounds promising. A perfect use for my i7, it might keep up.
