  1. Confirmed Nicola, a good chuckle that. What a question.
  2. Cool tips Nicola! Im trying that Mouse cofiguratoriser today!
  3. What controller setup do you use? A crappy joystick makes heli flying very hard! Now you know the reasons, try to anticipate it and adjust collective a little earlier, it makes a big difference. And listen to Jason/aadx, I've seen him fly in xplane, he's knows his stuff! His 206 taught me that I could fly helos after practice :-)
  4. Nice Benny. Get it perfect for xplane first!
  5. Ha, it really is a no-brainer. I'm working on a comparison article for xplane versus fsx helicopters, and I have to admit that Nil's interior wipes any of the FSX stuff away! and check out the seats ot the Dodosim, that's freeware quality. I don't notice those issues once operating though, as the flight model and sound is so cool, too busy trying to stay alive to marvel at polygons.
  6. Some of those were funny. Just saw this story, next time you are in the air, fly over your house, just in case! http://m.upi.com/m/story/UPI-55381314808703/
  7. Ah yes, thanks Andy! I played it do death, but avoided those horrible tape drives. I used a floppy drive, but that still took awhile to load.
  8. The BK117 by Nils is my favorite, for it's great 3D gauges, systems and flight model. U can't go wrong with it. I hear there are a couple of reasonable liveries available :-)
  9. I have to admit I'm currently smitten :-) Ezdok camera is heaps better than default. I think you have to be extremely selective for planes, a lot of dross. 3d pits not as good as you guys! Well, maybe the pmdg is the exception, for now.. Nicola, Heligirl- my god, the flight model of the Dodosim 206 is freaking amazing!! Freeware interior of sorts though.
  10. Wow. Let's just import these into WED..
  11. They look nice! That BD5 was featured in one of my first favorite computer games, Microjet? Back in about 1986. For Amiga? That plane's been begging to be done! Thanks
  12. Hehe Nicola. Yes, XP10.9.8.1 with all the bells and whistles- especially the new weather/clouds and AI- but missing the bugs! .acf- Steamgauge city, IXEG and Leading Edge 747-200. Updated Mu. DC3. Oh, and the default space shuttle.
  13. I think Michelebk117 was referring to the AOA video training package for the PMDG, not angle of attack performance. Looking ultra thorough guys!
  14. Tell me about it!
  15. Hehe, I'm glad I can laugh at myself. My memory obviously is still not that reliable. The label stays
  16. Ha, must be going mad. I don't remember the detail at all! I really am gettin out of touch..
  17. Ah Google, how I love thee! Looks nice Javier!
  18. Thank you Alex. That solution looks promising, it pops up in a few of the dozen threads Ive had to bookmark.
  19. That PMDG has a lot of people curious Ola. Interesting that u felt that urge like I did. Ha, that music is very annoying! I switch it off very quickly. You're right, that launch menu is so ancient and sluggish, plus a few of us are having probs with crashes. Incredible for such an old game. I have bookmarked about 10 possible solutions, so it's NOT for the faint-hearted! But worth it I hope. The PMDG is good, but is heavy on resources. Only 24 fps at Sydney, but does feel smooth, convincing handling. Up to 35fps in the air. Tom, great to see your own impressions of 10, we'd all love to hear more, even if it's months away. I feel like I'm seeing a preview now with fsx, with some of the (non- dynamic) lighting and clouds, and that's all just with one core being used!
  20. Corr, gorgeous yoke setup Alex, what's it feel like? Sounds more expensive than a real one :-) I'll be in touch via pm, we could use your assistance in our new Blog, here: http://xsimreviews.wordpress.com/ Funny, I'm actually enjoying the GAs - Carenado Bonanza over Diamond Point. Gauges not as perfect as Goz's, but that exterior, My God. It's a slug to take off though. A couple of us are already having fsx freezing issues, again I'll contact you. Frustrating, as ever! S
  21. Ooh yeah, more subtle now. nice work
  22. Thank you for sharing, beautiful!
  23. Looks cool Nic, what about move the pilot badge to the tail, vertical stabilizer black area? The off axis badge looks like a broken door. Would look amazing in real life
  24. Wow Kes, a nice setup! I didn't know you had all of orbx. time will tell, but it'll take me awhile to explore. NZ out soon as well.
  25. I hope so! I lurve surprises
