Saab 340A Preview and Announcement! - June 24th, 2013
scubajuan_new replied to Cameron's topic in Saab 340 - Released!
Just a thought... Could the case be that "The Other Aircraft" which seem to be conflicting for him have not been updated to their latest releases for an strange reason? I know (cuz I read about it from Ben Supunik him self) that in the latest releases of XP10, significant changes were done to the code and that updating plugins was necessary. I have no issues with Gizmo or any other freeware/payware planes using custom plugins given the fact that all have been updated to the latest available release, none. -
Most awesome vacation we have ever been on

You guys just took me away for a holiday Great pictures! -
Are those contrails? High cirrus moving at their own speed and direction? Wow! Very promising. I will definitely buy.

I am not defending totalitarian governments, or any other form of government for that matter (which they all seem to be heading that way anyway, except maybe Island), But I don´t condemn the attempts to resist the dominance of the elite by whatever means they consider necessary and protect from a hostile take over either.

Or we can also start by looking at the crap under our own rugs and accept responsibly our part in all the global problems that exist today, like word hunger and environmental depredation for instance.

That might be the case and I apologize for my choice of words in case you, or anybody else, find them offensive. they were in response to this statement: Which I find offensive and and plainly ignorant. Even if the erasure part refers to Kim Jong-un as an individual and not to the entire Democratic People's Republic of Korea (note that is written "THEY" and not "HE"). I've heard the same bullshit about Fidel Castro, Hugo Chavez, Evo Morales, Muammar Gaddafi, Saddam Husein, etc. And the being educated by propaganda since birth part, well. It applies to everybody alive on this planet and that is the point I was trying to make. You, my friend, as well as me, have been lied to, kept from the truth and manipulated in so many ways that is terrifying to even try to make sense of. But more scary is the thought of perpetrating the lies and allowing the sick psychopaths behind the NWO achieve their goals. And back to airports and airplanes...

I don't want to be the one who bust your bubble, but all those statements apply to any nation in the world. The USA is in fact an imperialist nation that maintains military bases in at least 150 countries around the globe.Throughout its history has invaded and and appropriated the land and the resources of independent nations by force (Native Americans, Mexico, Hawaii, Iraq, Afghanistan to name a few) based on lies and manipulation. The US citizens are lead to believe that "The World" hates americans because they are jealous of their "freedom" and shielded for the fact that it is their foreign policy the main cause of the growing discontent with a nation that once represented the ideal values of freedom, not anymore. For Instance Libya, the attack and murder of their lider on the basis of humanitarian help to the rebels that were being repressed by the forces of their state. I just wander what happen to the Occupy Movements, everybody around the world saw the repression by the government forces to a otherwise peaceful demonstration. "Freedom of speech", of "public assembly"? And Yes! the US is feared around the world because of it military power, If you don't comply to the petrodollar and "Independent Central Bank" you risk having a bomb of "Democracy" being dropped at your doorstep. Like is happening to Syria, soon to Iran, and sooner or latter to North Korea. But is not just me or the north koreans that think The US is an empire : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_imperialism Does the dead of Osama ring any bells? How about the Iraqi arsenal of WMD? The so called "Fee Media" is just an instrument of propaganda for those that control "The State". The same people that control the media control the banking cartels, the Oil, Pharmaceutical, Agroindustrial, food manufacturing and off-course the weapons industries, to name just a few. And anybody who dares to speak out against them is systematically silenced either by dead or by intimidation, like it happen to JFK. I have been debating wether to post or not my opinion above here, after all It is not political interest that brings me here. I come here for Flight Simulator and aviation information in general, besides being aware that this simple statements may very well be monitored and perhaps I will be labeled as a threat, but what the hell...

This should be moved to the rant section so I could express freely what I'd really like to say after reading a post like this. But I'll be understanding to recognise that a comment like this can only come from a someone that has been fed propaganda since birth, living in puppet land, kept ignorant about the world he lives in by the puppet masters, and led to believe that they are the devil. After reading and editing to soften my words many times, I can only feel compassion for you. I sincerely hope you find the courage to take your head out of your ass some day, and discover for yourself the world you live in.

Draped polygons will not have the same appearance as water (lack of reflexions to say the least) and since the color of water changes with the color of the sky, they will only look acceptable for one particular angle and under specific light situation. This can improve with a little bit of transparency on the coastlines, but if the river (and underlaying water) is missing this will reveal the terrain underneath.

Cestomano's tools are awesome. A bit complicated to use for the non initiated, since they use line commands, but once the process is understood they can produce a number of great scenery enhancements for small or large areas.

What is this, and how do I remove it?
scubajuan_new replied to OlaHaldor's topic in Scenery Development
To have the terrain preview in WED like in OE would be great, but the bing map (or google or any other satellite image) for reference is a real treat. -
Video preview someone?

how about this one:
-
That answers my question about the gorgeous florescent lights
-
Very impressive work! I just discover this development and will certainly follow closely until it's release.

Wow!. Looks beautiful. I love the flou lights in the hangar too. What scenery is it from?

I don't usually stick my nose where I'm not asked for, but I would like to address this topic for two reasons: 1) The thread title is an attention grabber and 2) I read all about this somewhere else. Apparently this began not as a technical support issue but more like a demand to modify the flight model of the plane in question. I don't know the details but to me one thing is to have a technical problem, like missing components, simulator crashing, something that should work not working, etc. and another is to simply not like the product (or parts of it) and ask (more like demand) the developer to comply to my desires. It is ok to point out inaccuracies and suggest possible improvements for a product, if it is done politely with respect for the work done. It is up to the developing team to address the issue or not. If criticism is made, it should be based on solid grounds, like experience flying the real aircraft, reliable sources of information, access to the real plane, etc. the developer might take the suggestions more seriously. If the criticism is based on my experience with a similar product from another platform or just my appreciation and expectations, the developer might very well ignore the request. The other issue is the validity of the support request and the bad record keeping or broken communication between store and developer. Bad press about X-plane and X-Plane's products affect us all (developers and users alike). I hope the issue is resolved and since the can of worms was opened in this forum, a follow up and clarification by all parts involved is desirable. I doubt that Nicky will explain here his side of the story, but perhaps someone close to him with an insight of the org's involvement in this issue could clarify. I do not own any of Carenado's aircraft yet but I might consider some of their products in the future. And no, I am not boycotting Carenado. I am sure that when we hear their side of the story, things will make more sense. Edit. Typos

Take Command! CRJ-200 Version 1.5.3 Update Released!
scubajuan_new replied to Cameron's topic in Canadair CRJ-200
Thanks a lot. Taking out for a spin I noticed the wing lights not operational. Is this intentionally like this or might there be a problem on my end? -
Cessna Corvalis TT Version 1.5.1 Update Released!
scubajuan_new replied to Cameron's topic in Cessna Corvalis
Thank you guys, keep up the excellent work. -
Just the reentry and landing in the shuttle is quite a challenge. The UFO could be a lot of fun to fly if it is capable of hyper speeds and other celestial bodies were modelled. The V9's Mars was very cool but I would not know where to begin to try to navigate to or from the earth. I suppose with this one you can do suborbital flights across the globe in a matter of hours if not minutes. It could be funny to use online and pup up and scare VATSIM pilots (provided that they could see you as a UFO and not a Cessna)

How about flying it for you too? In the file library of this site you might just find what you are looking for.
