  1. It's alright, I heard that at his airline the aircraft come inserted with i7s ;D. Good luck but will you still run x-plane?
  2. Photoshop elements in my opinion is just as good as full photoshop, well for what I use full photoshop most of the time. Layers can be complicated but you do get used to it after a while.
  3. Yes but make sure you have sloped runways on, it makes it a lot easier to pull up at Lukla.
  4. Its suicidal rocket powered takeoff ;D
  5. Wow do you do your textures in photoshop?
  6. The problem is that the scenery is made for the elevation of FSX. Sometimes there is nothing you can do except manually lower or raise each individual object that can take weeks.
  7. Sounds like you have a pretty big problem but I can't reproduce the problem either.
  8. Actually I have windows on my mac laptop running bootcamp. I never thought about buying simplates on bootcamp, I'm really dumb sometimes.
  9. Sorry I posted the details way to late. I think we should try to do this same fly in again next week. Next time I won't leave on the dot.
  10. I will definitely add this to my .org badge. How long will it be before Nicholas bans it.
  11. I agree and think how much more they would make if it was available for mac. Oh well I will have to go back to google searching for charts.
  12. With differential brakes works a charm for me but I have pedals. I'am aware that Simon has no pedals but has successfully mapped differential braking to keys on his keyboard. You might want to contact him and ask him how he did it.
  13. Ok details for the fly in. VNKT-VNLK Date: Sunday 3rd of October Departure Time: GMT+0 (London) 1.00PM / GMT+10 (Melbourne) 10.00PM / GMT-5 (New York) 8.00AM Duration: Around 1 hour Departing: Kathmandu VNKT Arriving: Lukla VNLK Route: Direct Length: 70 NM Aircraft: No larger or faster than the mentor Type: VFR Scenery: Kathmandu http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=9869 Lukla http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=5885 Website: http://www.xplaneaustralia.com/weeklyflyin.htm Hello all to X-plane Australia's fifteenth Fly In and X-Pilots third. On Sunday we fly from Kathmandu to the worlds most dangerous airport Lukla which is around 70NM. Lukla is usually were climbers start the trek to Mt.Everest so there are daily flights from Kathmandu. I will be flying in the Mentor and I personally wouldn't fly anything larger. To understand the difficulty of this approach I advise you practice it a few times before going online.
  14. Probably just my bad memory but I don't remember having a 757 in the fleet. Otherwise great flight.
  15. If you have that problem in x-plane again make a new scenery package in overlay editor. Go to the airport where you had the problem and put an exclusion zone around the airport of trees. Also well told Ola and the Duchess goes extremely well with that scenery. Andy
  16. X-plane could be that vivid its just that we need people who are prepared to spend years working on one country.
  17. I heard that Austin is working on an accurate 430 for a later release of v9
  18. I used to have that problem but before I got the Mentor. It seems to have fixed itself
  19. What is this modelling for? FSX (Guess)
  20. Thats a shot of FTX Au Tropical East.
  21. Now everything makes sense. I wondered why you were called Japo32
  22. Yes Tassie is very nice and so is NZ but I have to say Australia is more than rooftops in the cites and a big rock in the middle. Have a look at this
  23. I have never considered buying goodway but I will have a look. On the other hand with Rex I'm just waiting for the Mac version.
  24. I never knew you were interested in scenery Javier. Your extreme blender skills should work as well on scenery as they do on your aircraft.
