  1. I have a 2GB GTX680 and I now wish I had gone for the 4GB version at the time. High resolution textures quickly devour VRAM. Posted from my Lumia 920 via Tapatalk
  2. I hope your life issues are not too serious, rather perhaps just a re-evaluation of priorities. Be well!
  3. Please, get your computer looked at. All of your posts here and at the Org look the same.
  4. A bus simulator??? That's pretty funny all on its own, never mind the X-Plane ad in it.
  5. Wasn't this (aerobridge.moonfruit.com/#/airports/4573326355) it?
  6. Same here. That, and the 64-bit Falco. Have a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year!
  7. So, it must be true...
  8. You may also want to disable power management in the Nvidia control panel. (Set it to "Prefer Maximum Performance")
  9. Check the two orange indicators on the HSI button. (admittedly, I cannot reproduce this one.)
  10. Pic 1: Can't duplicate it. Pic 2: Not an issue. Pic 3: I get the same knobs in the upper left corner of the cockpit voice recorder. Not sure why this is happening.
  11. Can't seem to figure this game out either. But the "extra" digit in the second picture isn't an extra digit at all. It's the "Active" indicator for the upper display. See page 33 of the J32 manual.
  12. I don't use simtiles or simHeaven scenery, but will this help?
  13. Your opinion from your experience. The only time I have ever seen a BSOD in Win7 or Win8 was during the development of overclock settings. Win8[.1] is fine.
  14. ...and the X-Plane log file.
  15. Agreed! My point exactly.
  16. Maybe it's just me, but I feel having choices is better than not having them.
  17. I'd still rather tolerate the minor annoyances (which don't seem as bad for me) for now than wait for a different product to be released.
  18. What's awesome is that I can have SkyMAXX now!
  19. One of my machines with a GTX 680 is still running X-Plane with 314.22 with no issues whatsoever. I'm not so sure X-Plane is using all the latest extensions yet. As for the SkyMAXX/Gizmo problem that remains, I will have to step aside for JohnMAXX, BenRussell or Cameron to assist you. They are the experts for these products. Sorry, I'm just a regular user...
  20. Thanks. Glad you're feeling better.
  21. Yeah, I know it.
  22. Thanks for the update! Looking forward to the next one!
  23. Well, if SkyMaxx appears to be the culprit, standard diagnostic technique would dictate to test your system without it. Use the SkyMaxx uninstaller to remove it. Then, to be sure that X-Plane is in a known state, run the X-Plane updater to be sure that any textures or other files are properly restored. EDIT: How were the Gizmo64 plugin(s) installed? Was it with the SkyMaxx install and/or a Gizmo-driven aircraft? (There should be only one Gizmo installation in the X-Plane plugins folder.)
  24. This looks more like a GPU driver issue to me than anything else. When, and more importantly how, did you install the 331.65 driver? And what was your previous driver version?
