  1. Everything's moving along nicely! Lots of loose ends being tied up as well as loads of good stuff going on in the coding department. However not much to show considering it's mostly a bunch of little things
  2. Could you perhaps share which HDRI you used? I've been looking for a good one that gives nice results for quite awhile now and haven't found anything that gives me quite what I want, but yours looks almost exactly like what I'm looking for
  3. Oh yeah for sure! The Cloud 9 converted great, and I have every Blue Sky Scenery available for the surrounding area and I still get great FPS.
  4. You've never heard of them before because up until this point they've done (I think, correct me if I'm wrong) exclusively FSX work. They're very well known in the FSX community and are, in my opinion, the single best repainters for FSX out there. Go have a look at some of their freeware stuff, it'll blow you away. Sorry for the minor threadjack there. I'm definitely looking forward to atgcab's ATR
  5. Yay! ;D I've been wanting a good Madeira forever and the Aerosoft version converts terribly, or rather not at all essentially.
  6. Apparently on the MacBook Air's it's on the underside... http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1941 I just flipped over my MacBook Pro and it's there, and it's there on every other Mac laptop I've ever had...
  7. For some reason that door/hatch thing is mapped to a different area than the rest of the fuselage. In the attached picture I've highlighted the area that you'll need to paint to get that hatch to show up right. Edit: Looks like Dozer got there first
  8. There is one on the .org being developed by "The Flying Badger" but I haven't seen any development on it in a REALLY long time. http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?showtopic=38500&st=0
  9. The grey United Airlines paint would be great! Like this: http://www.airliners.net/photo/United-Express-(SkyWest/Canadair-CL-600-2B19-Regional/1911304/L/&sid=613a19ec3eb69292981dc3e953d4362c
  10. Yep Even though they don't fly this specific version I'll include it since I know a lot of people like it.
  11. Watched "The Right Stuff" today and couldn't help but build some stuff for my old X-1
  12. Already have it bookmarked Thanks for the help though! Much appreciated.
  13. I have no idea regarding the price just yet. When the time comes to make a decision I'll evaluate things and see what people are willing to pay based on what comes out between now and them and peoples reactions to the prices. The A320 I think will be handled mainly through Peter Hager so you'll have to find out about the prices from him. Although I will say the payware version of the A320 is pretty far off, still a lot of work to go. However the next version of the A320 will be released very soon, before the freeware CRJ700. And I'll be sure to include plenty of Horizon paints there Kaphias They have lots of cool college liveries that I'd like to paint...especially the Oregon State University Beavers. I love those little things!
  14. After much thought and consideration, I’ve decided to release a “lite” freeware version of my CRJ-700, much like QPAC has done with the A320. As it stands the QPAC A320 is freeware with detailed systems and autopilot, and a nice exterior; however some things have been omitted, like a complete Pegasus FMS and 3D cockpit which will be in the payware version. The CRJ700 "Lite" will be released in a similar fashion. Hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems will all be simulated, along with custom flight controls and autopilot. I have also elected to include a 3D cockpit, since a 2D panel would be a step down from what I've already created. The cabin will be included with the payware which will have a new fuselage, wings, reworked cockpit, and full plugin-driven FMC and Radiopanel to go along with it. We are expecting to release in 4-6 weeks, no later than the middle of June
  15. Reading through the manuals just now this is hilarious! Great to know you guys have a sense of humor But no seriously, fantastic work
  16. Yep it's a newer version - the one to be released when I finish with it here soon There's not much left to go really, it's mainly stuff related to the wings. Shouldn't be too much longer.
  17. I'm going to guess KLAS. It's out in the desert.
  18. He's lowering it intentionally so the developers don't have to close X-Plane to use other applications and can therefore make changes in blender, Photoshop, or Planeaker and then test them immediately in the sim. I don't know about Goran, Theo and the rest of the team but for me if I try to open Planemaker and X-Plane at the same time my computer looks at me, laughs sarcastically, and freezes epically so I have to shut it down It won't be shipped with the project, it's purely for the developers to test things quicker.
  19. Me too...if this means what I think it means I'm extremely excited!
