I suspect you just have accidentally pressed AP DISC and have forgot to re-set it (by pressing the AP DISC bar back in). cessna729.

What do you mean exactly "Contamination of the oil"?? What is happening? Do you mean you notice a HIGH OIL temp then an engine fire or the engine quits? A screenshot of any warning lights/annunciators/gauges/popup messages ect. may help. Have you tried just throttling back a bit, reducing the power? Attaching a copy of your Log.txt from an problem flight may help. Also check the World/MTBF tab of the System Failures page under X-Plane's Aircraft --> Equipment Failures options, try un-ticking "Allow random failures". cessna729.

Congratulations Oliver, well done! Now the sky's the limit!

What hardware/X-Plane version did you use in the video? Also the scenery like the aircraft itself was fantastic, could you list the extras you had installed in the video eg. Wx, terrain, custom scenery? or was it just beti-x.com as you mentioned in your post above?. Thanks. cessna729.

Hi, Could you give us a bit more information? Exactly which "issues" are you refering to? You appear to have only made 5 posts so far and 4 have been about problems adding scenery. Is that your problem? If so, start with the most important bit of information we would need to be able to help, attach a copy of your Log.txt file (found in the X-Plane folder) to your next post (to attach a file click [More Reply Options] in the "Reply to this topic" section on this page). In the mean time, try removing the scenery you added (as your reported problems started after that). Untill we see your Log.txt file there is not much else we can suggest. cessna729.

Exit X-Plane. Copy the Aircraft's folder, and re-name the copy something like "BAe Jetstream 32 - ARINC 424 GPS". Run Plane-Maker (PM). Go File --> Open. Select the folder "BAe Jetstream 32 - ARINC 424 GPS". Select the Jetstream32.acf inside that folder, select [Open Aircraft]. Once PM has loaded the JS32, select Standard --> Panel: 2-D. On the right hand side under Hierarchy, find FMS_small.png, highlight it (so the name goes orange), then deleate it (by clicking the no entry icon). Select the GNS430 on the panel (its should be highlighted in orange). At the very bottom of the screen change the X value from 331.0 to 337.0 (as the default setting is slightly miss-aligned). You should not have to change anything else if you followed the instructions (but just incase the settings for the GPS that I used are: Zoom: 100%, Name: Garmin_430.png, X:337.0, Y:1628.0, Size: 4.00, Copilot [ ] that's un-ticked Close the Panel editor by clicking the white arrow head top left. Now go Standard --> Systems page, FMS/GPS section and select pilot use moderm ARINC424 capable. Close the Systems page by clicking [x] on that page. Go File --> Save. Exit PM. Start X-Plane, load the modified aircraft. Go Fly! Remember Backup by copying the Aircraft's folder first!! cessna729.

If you use something like http://rfinder.asalink.net/free/ you can select the ARINC Database cycle to match the Navigraph/Aerosoft FMS navdata you have loaded in the CRJ-200 (the current cycle is 1403). Only minor point to using route finder/flightplanning tools/programs is that very few (if any) can actually save in CRJ-200 flightplan format so you will have to manually enter any new route into the CRJ's FMS youself. But once you have saved it, you can re-load that flightplan any time. cessna729.

Most Auto Pilot's on small aircaft like the JS32 are Designed to disconnect just before landing as this aircraft (both sim & RW) has no AUTOLAND capability. (check BEFORE LANDING checklist, A/P to OFF). It will also disconnect if to use manual trim or get near stall speed (or X-Plane thinks your near stall speed in gusty conditions because of spikes in the IAS due to X-Plane turbulence) Note I would also switch OFF the "Stick Pusher" if it's gusty as well and add a few kts to your Vref. If you pulled the throttle (all the way back) on your joystick you may have activated "BETA" pitch, i.e. put the props into "reverse angle". cessna729.

Navigraph have not only released the latest 1401 FMS Data, but have also release a new application called "FMS Manager" which can automatically backup, download and update all your addon's FMS Data in one go. http://www.navigraph...ataManager.aspx Unfortunately at the moment it is Windows only, but Linux and Mac support is coming. The old legacy Manual download system is still available. http://www.navigraph...ualInstall.aspx cessna729.

A lot more details: A Route, a saved flight plan, what phase of flight? T/O, SID, en-route, STAR or APPR? What flight modes ARMED/ACTIVE? Does it happen on all flights? one particular route/airport? What navdata you using default/Aerosoft NDP/Navigraph? what cycle/revision? Screenshots, an attached copy of your Log.txt file. cessna729.

Wot's this a new game, spot the difference? All I can see is the extra digit in pic 2 If you want some help, a bit more information would not go a miss, what are you actually complaining about/having problems with? As regards the extra digit in photo 2, when does it appear? is it when you operate some switch or control or 3rd party plug-in? cessna729.

NO real world aircraft is 100% ICE proof, Old mother nature will win in the end! Simulations are the same, and anti-ice equipment will only help up to a point. Unfortunately X-Plane 10's interpritation of "Real Wx" is still a work in progress, and it is getting better. But at the moment it's rate of ice buildup is a little on the wild side. So for the time being, do what it says and "Avoid staying in the clouds..for prolonged periods." try changing ALT or going around the heavy build up areas, and use the anti ice to buy you some time. cessna729.

Thrust Limits- work 50% of time (SOLVED)
cessna729 replied to Kyle Sanders's topic in Canadair CRJ-200
Hi Kyle, You forgot to enter the ORIGIN and Rwy maybe?, that is why the FMS enters 0.0, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0 when you input 15 into the OAT field on the THRUST LIMIT page. I guess the FMS needs those bits of data to calculate something, densirty alt maybe? Or put another way, when I left the Rwy field blank, I get 0.0, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0, but when I enter a Rwy it works. Don't forget to EXEC, after entering a Rwy. Also the bit about it working 50% of the time, I suspect the settings are "sticky" between sessions, eg. 1st test load the CRJ, forget to enter Rwy will result in 0,0,0,0. 2nd test, load the CRJ agian, enter ORIGIN and Rwy will result in correct thrust limits. If you try to "fix" it during the same load session, i.e. by trying to re-enter ORIGIN or RWY a 2nd time you may get different results for example if you try 2 flights in one load session. cessna729. -
You may have broke Gizmo? shrink-wrap: Built: (May 1 2011 15:16:45)shrink-wrap: *** Unable to locate Gizmo.plugin.Failed: C:\X-Plane 10 usa/Resources/plugins/shrink-wrap.plugin/win.xpl. (The plugin refused to start by returning 0 from XPluginStart.)Personnaly I'd start by temp removing all other 3rd party addons, then try and load the CRJ engines running, then re-post your Log.txt. cessna729.

Hi Daniel, I think the point that Javier (JRollon) was making, was that "You only have to ask for assistance in the forum of the shop where you bought the plane." and there is no need to "Double post" as he (the Developers) read both forums. The two other reasons not to "Double post" is that: The plane may be the same (the JS32) but the installation /activation methods are different. If you "double post" in both forum's the DEVs may not know, if it's the same person or someone else with the same/similar problem, and may then end up spending alot of time trying to figure out who posted what?, rather than helping the one person sort out their problem as quickly as possible. cessna729.

Just follow Kris's excellent advice! And the next time you run the X-Plane 10 Install application (in your X-Plane 10 folder) it will figure out you have two (or more) X-Plane installations on your computer and prompt you which one you want to "update" or to add/remove scenery from. If you don't have much HDD space free to copy the whole of your existing X-Plane installation folder, just do a "Mini install" into a seperate folder say you call it "X-Plane BETA" and just install the bare "Demo" scenery around KSEA area (from the DVD), then just run the install/update app on that folder to bring it to XP10.25B1. You can then use that as your test bed, and you can copy your fav aircraft/scenery/addon into that installation (one at a time) and try it out without the risk of hurting your main X-Plane 10.22 installation which you keep strictly for "Flying" I just create speperate "shortcuts" on my desktop so I can easily start the version I want "64 bit XP 10.22" and "64 bit XP BETA" sort of thing, along with a shortcut to each of the seperate X-Plane folders. cessna729.

[SOLVED] KLN 90B integration
cessna729 replied to niebieski's topic in British Aerospace Jetstream 32

A little research on the Bombardier web site, reveals that the CRJ-200LR has a MTOW of 53,250 lbs and the CRJ-200ER has a MTOW of 51,000 lbs. The CRJ200_PilotHandbook_1.0.1.pdf included with Javiers CRJ has a page 4 that looks like this: So that suggests Javiers Bird is a"ER". But page 7 of the same manual says: And that suggests it's a "LR". You need Javier to say which one his sim is base on cessna729.
