  1. the autopilot captures the localizer and the glide slope is captured. after the plane hs been on the glide slopr for a time the autopilot shuts off. Airspeed is adequate, full flaps and gear down the autopilot will not reengage. I recover the plane and land manually. When I pull the throttle back with the joy stick as I cross the end of the runway the engines go into reverse and I have not pressed the reverse button. airdaleret

I have tried four times to use the ILS to runway three at Casper, WY (KCPR) and have not had the aircraft capture the glide slope, The localizer is captured but the Glideslope is not. The G/S indicator shows on the MFD but the aircraft does not follow.. I have not had that problem at East Texas Regional (KGGG).
  3. Thanks, I will make sure I am setting the thrust limits from now on out, however, I have been careful to keep my engines below the 100% mark and the engines were operating about 60-65% at the times of two of the failures. The others I don't know because I was not watching the engine dial on those flights. This last flight the engines quit when the plane went into one of the pitch oscillations and this failure could be expected. anfd that is another sore spot because if you try the User modification autopilot fix the plane only has the default livery and you have to get other files transferred in order for the aircraft to fly. Seems to me this has not been well put together. Is there a particular reason that this was allowed to remain? Although I am not a pilot I did spend a few years as an aircrewman on Navy Sp2h Neptune Patrol aircraft. Being an Aircraft electrician I can remember having to adjust an autopilot controller because the aircraft gained some altitude when the plane made an autopilot controlled turn so I know these are not appreciated by pilots.
  4. On several flights I have created and activated the engines have just plain shutdown. 1. a flight from KPIA (Peoria, IL) to KGGG (Longview,TX) the engines quit about the middle of Arkansas. 2. a flight from KGGG (Longview,TX) to KTYR (Tyler, TX) the engines quit a short time into the flight. 3. a local flight at KGGG to find out what is going wrong. The engines quit on final ILS to KGGG. 4. A lcal KGGG again to try and find what is causing the problem. Took off on Runway 13 and climbed heading to 2500' and turned 180 to heading 310 . The aircraft settled on heading and the engines quit. I restarted the engines and complete the flight to an ILS landing at KGGG. This has been going on since I re-installed the aircraft, four flights and four engine failures.
  5. I set a FIX way point and then flew a heading away from the location of the FIX. When I turned on the NAV ir immediately captured the FIX but 180 out. I had to hit the BC button to get the NAV to track the fix point. When I switched to track an NDB or VOR it worked fine. In he above situation I had set the proper frequency for an ILS landing at KGGG. When I thought it should have captured the localizer and it did not I checked the frequency and both the one in the VLOC and the one in NAV 1 had changed. after changing the frequency setting the system captured as it should except the G/S. The plane flew right over the airport at the altitude it had been flying at. the G/S bug was sitting right on the mark like it was on G/S.
  6. In the last update and the present one (1.03) I am hving trouble locking onto the glide slope. I was going into KDAL with the prior update and lost the signal when the glide slope was acquired and I could not even engage the Autopilot after that incident. This time I was trying twice to go into KGGG and no acquiring the G/S and the plane was offset quite a bit to the left of the runway and it had indicated it had acquired the localizer for some period of time. This is a new installation of the new update. Log.txt
