Windows installer when asking for the registered email bug. Enter my email that the update was sent to and get " You need to specify a value " ? Even downloaded another up date hoping it was the problem with no difference.

Windows installer won`t accept my email to complete the install. Keeps rejecting saying "You need to specify a Value." ? Even deleted the first download and re-downloaded to try again. Still says the same.

Experienced this to exploring the roads with a motorcycle or car. Sucks when your really moving along good and bang. your back at the end of the runway.

Just tested it and you are correct, looks terrible, I have a Zotac GTX 580 3gb GPU and have issues with newer drivers in X-Plane and other games. Was running the 285 drivers and would get all kinds of artifacts. Tried updating to the latest beta drivers and it was even worse. So rolled back to the 275 drivers and it cleared up many issues. But as for what you are describing, I see it to.

Yeah, its fun doing a tower view from KSFO and watching the AI 747`s practice water landings and take offs.

Everything was installed as per the instructions. I do know how to helicopters in X-Plane. having been doing so for over 10 years. XP10 is still a work in progress as we all know. So, helicopters fly somewhat different depending upon the one you fly. The Kmax flies just fine for me in 9x. 10x was a lesson in futility, was no fun getting it airborne only to quickly loose control. Not to worried though. I have the MD-902 Explorer working just fine 10X.

In 10x I could get off the ground but quickly loose control. Like the controls were amplifying input with every movement. After 20 crashes I decided to give the 9x version a chance. Was glad i did, talk about fun challenges. 10x has a long road ahead to get there, patience is 9x.

Quick review, just bought the Kmax and it works as described in 9x, but don`t expect the same in 10x. World of difference. Have been flying choppers in every version of X-plane since early 5x. 10x and this type of chopper have a long ways to go in development. 9x was awesome flying the adventures. Jim did a great job.

Fed Ex arrived at 9am with my Zotac GTX 580 AMP2 3gb. So shut my computer and got it ready for the big upgrade. Everything went smooth until getting it all back together and firing it up for the first time. God aweful noise from the new Zotac. Fan blade hitting on the outer cage that protects the blades. Shut it down, pull it out. Take apart the out shroud and discover one of the plastic fan hold downs into the Zahlman fins was loose, there fore letting it pull up into the cover. Warmed up my hot melt glue gun and pulled it apart a bit and dropped a bead into gap that was suppose to hold it down and then pressed it all back together. Problem solved. Put it all back together and spun the fans first to make sure. No noise. Now its running like a champ and quieter then my BFG GTX 280. Slideshow of the upgrade

Only place I have seen tire smoke is on those crazy AI planes when they make hard slow speed turns.

x-plane 10 with xpzones UK scenery test fligth over Ben Nevis in Scotland. Looks great.

I have one for 9x , but they have not made any for 10x. No idea if they will or not to run the home desktop version.

Decided it was time to make some changes and upgrade my computer. First was memory. Had 6gb installed on 3 sticks and went to Crucial. com and used their computer configure tester and they showed me that I could upgrade to 12gb with 3/4gb Ballistix 1600 DDR3 chips. Have them wrapped and sitting under the tree. Then I decided it was time to upgrade the GPU to, Had a BFG GTX 280 installed and just purchased http://www.nothingbu...=164817&ai=1550 this morning, Should be here next week in time to put it all together. X-Plane should work even better now, not that i had any problems.

Fixed, found out my updater, I thought was the latest build was already out of date. Upgraded updater and all went well. Everything is as it should be now.

Run your updater to get this fix, rather large to.

Don`t expect an email if living in the US from Laminar, Received an email from them saying to watch for one from Stamps.com when ordering and never did. It just appeared in mailbox the day after official release.
