  3. Interesting, i had not thought of this before hand, so i thank you for brining this to our attention. i will test this myself a bit and see what values i can get and how it looks.
  4. hey Ola, thanks for checking in. which city are you in again? i wonder what planes fly in there. a lot of dashes fly around europe i know that much. As for my dash, still working on her diligently. i want to get her done as soon as i can. i guess i forgot to post on these forums about my new site and the Facebook page i have up for anyone to follow the development at. on my website we have a Facebook feed that i post to a few times a week on whatever i feel like saying. anyone with a Facebook account can become a fan and watch the progress that way. I am actually out of sate on vacation with family this week so wont be able to really work on her this week, which i feel terrible about. but family is important i guess That is why i haven't been so active on this topic for a while.
  5. finally i will be able to fly this plane again. it was my favorite plane in FSX for the longest time.
  6. I cant help but be funny here, but i dont really want to wait till 2015 which happens to be the next time july 12th ends on a Sunday. can we make it a little sooner then that?
  7. Very nice G man. Textures are wonderful as always
  8. Vatsim is great, and you dont need cam to organize it, just do it yourself. lets set a date and time that is best for everyone, and pic and airport to meet up at. having a ventrillo server to chat with voice is also great to have. I help run a VA called mainland who flies up in BC and alberta. We just get one and the controllers come on if they feel like having fun too. Generally we start flying Calgary, CYYC, to Vancouver, CYVR. Vancouver center normally signs on for us. I think the largest flying i ever been to was into San fransisco KSFO, once, and it was fun. we had people coming from all over the place. My VA and i flew in from Vancouver. It was a vatsim event so we didn't have to organize it. But for armchair pilots new to Vatsim, it can be a bit crazy going into a large airport like KSFO during an organized event. Vatsim sponsers many events, for exsample, next Saturday the 11th, there will be the light up DC event which reads: I myself, haven't flown in a while since i been working hard on my Q, but soon i will need to test her more so i will defenitly be up on vatsim.
  9. This Outerra thing is very bitter sweet. the fact it looks great and has potential just blows me away, but the fact that we may never see anything like that in x-plane just makes me cry.
  10. I envy you right now. if i could not work at my day job then i would only work on X-plane stuff too. to bad i need the money.
  11. yeah, i figured as much, but still, i have seen a lot of weather systems over the years, and this one REALLY looks promising.
  12. someone needs to pass this onto ben or austin. seriously awesome stuff, i am looking into the demo right now.
  13. wow, that is a bit extreme no? but still a good thing to do. glad the money is going to good use, instead of sitting in a bank somewhere. obviously, he likes pets.
  14. from my experience i can tell he was probably preforming a slow flight/ nose high maneuver and might have gone a little to slow and the plane stalled and started into a spin. being a professional pilot he knew just what was happening and ejected. when we practice slow flight in a 172 we normally don't go bellow 1500 feet AGL for safety. this guy here was obviously lower then that. tough break for him. how do you explain the loss of a REALLY expensive airplane? i would hate to be that guy right now. now reading more into it, i cant see how a stall and spin can be the only explanation, cause these pilots are really experienced and should definitely know better then to allow the plane to get to slow that it would stall and spin. i am now thinking, something wrong with the plane or that it was just such a hot day that the density altitude was so very high that caused the stall speed to increase and perhaps he didn't take that into account, but still, he should have. maybe a bird strike....... when in doubt, blame it on the birds.
  15. any new information an this scenery Ola?
  16. The Qantaslink livery is definitely a cool livery, and it happens to be 4th on my list. So you can count that as one that will be with it upon release. You wont be seeing any new pictures of the liveries for a while yet as we are working on the internal 3d cockpit and we have exact measurements for everything in there, including the cockpit window panes. As such, the exterior dose match up any longer, so we will be remodeling the nose section. Once that is done we will start making more liveries.
  17. this is pretty neat. may pick it up. dose it cover Canada? i do a lot of flying in Canada and i have yet to pick up a VFR sectional for the areas i fly in. if i could get a map for that thru this app, that would be cool.
  18. ROFLMAO, nice post simon. loving them.
  19. boy this sure bring a smile to my face. this is what textures should look like. thank your Javier, thank you so very much.
