  1. Short story, i had to reinstalled windows. Gizmo is not working now. installed OpenAl and the pthread thing. i get this in the log file as if the file is missing? D:\X-Plane 9\Resources\plugins\Gizmo.plugin\win.xpl : Error Code = 126 : The specified module could not be found. D:\X-Plane 9\Resources\plugins\PythonInterface26\win.xpl : Error Code = 126 : The specified module could not be found. Loaded: D:\X-Plane 9\Resources\plugins\xpfmcconn\win.xpl. i even reinstalled gizmo, still no good. why is this so difficult to get to work.
  2. Those waves look almost perfect in form.
  3. I don't think there are any deserts in North Carolina... oh darn, your right. And i was getting my hopes up.
  4. The little Saab looks like it is about to be crushed by the giant Jetway. I am guessing its Charlotte airport, in which case i am on it like white on rice.
  5. to reply directly to the first post, if you are really an project manager then you should know very well how to much growth in a short time can topple a company, especially an art centric development company whose number one contributer is also the leader in all of this. Austin would first have to give up being a true contributer and turn himself into a ring leader. From what i have heard i don't think he will do that anytime soon. Plus, sometimes the small guys win.
  6. I saw the Blue Angel's C130 do something close to this at Sun N fun last week.
  7. That is just epic to watch. Thank you for this. the 7 is an oddball i think, but then again so is the 8. I wonder how many people would like to fly a high quality Dash 7.
  8. [me=Jack Skieczius]saddles up on his new Kangaroo and hops away screaming, ha ha ha, i got the dash, come and get me. [/me]
  9. I just outlined the shape of a Kangaroo! I feel a little insane.
  10. I cant really compaire it to the A380, but she dose get better frames then the SSJ and ERJ. I dont have the A380, but most of peter's planes never ran great on my system. If you are having no problem running the ERJ or SSJ then the dash will be a breeze for sure.
  11. and to go even further with my last post. you can have the textures on the low quality and only use up like 700 megs, but then if you lower your settings to veryhigh, it gets even lower usage. X-plane is wonderfull in that is is very customizable when it comes to graphic settings.
  12. interestingly, i have yet to test the dash on a 256 meg card. i am a little worried about it but if you can run the SSJ then lets hope you can run the dash. Also comes down mostly on how fast your CPU is. i have a 1280 meg card, and i can use it all with the dash on extreme settings.
  13. Fixed now. thanks again. There could be more, so good thing it is an easy fix.
  14. Hell yeah i enjoyed myself, right after the 4 hour waiting in the car to park. WTF was a nice a day got to see the F22 and blue angels and i walked through a DC7. woot. Got video of them too. going to root through it now.
  15. Cool beans. organization helps a ton. thanks.
  16. actually, come to think about it, i have known about the windshield being misspelled for a while now, just forgot all about it. so thanks for the heads up.
  17. Where is that error located? cant find it. allthe EXTERIORs i am looking at are correct. i will keep looking.
  18. Well hotdamn, good catch. wonder what else is spelled wrong. JOE?
  19. Sounds like you guys will be having some fun too. I will be there during the day, probably will leave around 5 pm if that. and yeah, if the Notams are like what last year was like, then you have a set time to get there and a set time you can lave by plane. think the air shows start around 1pm. I remember seeing the skies filled in the morning with planes coming in and landing. If you guys go, have FUN
  20. Just wanted to point out a lot of these lua files you have for your tutorials are no longer are linked correctly.
  21. Yeah, i was suppose to go today, but the rain kept me home. I will be there tomorrow as well, and i hope the show goes on. It is a shame mother nature hates us so much lately.
  22. Thanks Ben, I took a look at LuaEdit and LuaEclipse but i don't feel satisfied. I'll just keep using Komodo edit for now.
  23. Not sure if anyone could point me in the write direction but, years ago, when i was in high school we used a programing tool like Komodo edit, but one of the major things i find lacking in Komodo edit that i was use to using back then was a tool that allowed you to see the variables you have already come up as you are typing in. like an auto complete tool you would find on your iphone. Say you had already writen a variable that said something like dr_whatever and you were going to start typing it again and you start dr_w and then something would pop up that you could click to finish it. Also there was a tool that let you check if the spelling was correct on your variables. if you missed a capitol letter somewhere it would catch that. This saves a lot of time but i cant seem to find this type of tool in Komodo edit. And i cant remember what program i was using so many years ago. Anyone have any idea what program has this feature? or if komodo IDE dose? Thanks
