  1. You are both wrong. It's a CF-18. That's the Canadian version of the F-18
  2. As soon as goran gets back and sends me the files
  3. Nothing magical on my end. Still is broken. I gave Goran my account information and he bought it on my behalf. The store is still broken for me.
  4. Still no joy with the store... hope I don't miss out...
  5. Tried resetting my cookies. still no joy with the store
  6. Looks really nice!
  7. No problem. I also left him a note on skype.
  8. tried with both browsers, even reset my password. I'm stuck in a loop.
  9. I'll try it with firefox
  10. The store appears to be broken. It's a never ending loop of getting me to log in, taking me to the home page, select the plane, back to the log in.
  11. I agree. Forums should be more about friends.
  12. It works fine on my Macbook Pro. Negligible FPS hit. The only request is an indicator showing the aircrafts position, even if it's just a fixed graphic. I'm going to try it CAT3 conditions in the mountains.
  13. Downloading now.
  14. Don't worry Ben. When I get it I'll brag about it to you . Really man, buy a new computer LOL.
  15. Don't get me wrong, I know that x-plane modifies some stuff when exporting the screenshot, and I can tell from the colours on the 777 (which we have seen elsewhere) that there is some washout on the whole picture. I'm certainly going to try it out first hand, I'm not the type to not give an add-on it's fair chance, and just criticize based on screenshots and reviews.. I'm just commenting that on all of my jump seat time one of the remarkable things I've noticed is how many shades of green there are visible from the air, and in the SCREENSHOTS so far it seems to be missing. That does not mean that they are not there in the sim, and I look forward to trying it.
  16. I hope the reason the colours are so washed out is because of the process of taking a screenshot. The ground from the air has much more colour depth in real life.
  17. Downloading it now. Won't get a chance to take it for a spin till friday though. Congrats Goran. Bet this makes the wife happy
  18. FINALLY! Good on you mate! Best Joe
  19. Seeing as how it's being programmed on a mac, I'm betting it will work on a mac. No idea about linux
  20. So I guess the question is, does it look viable for us to expect a Mac release?
  21. LIS, Looks like you're right. It looks like the winds are 009@23Kts 014@33 etc.
  22. How soon until the Mac product is available?
  23. +1 The sound files that x-plane uses require lots of compression and dithering to get them to fit the restrictive file sizes and bit depth/FREQ that x-plane will read. AKA the sounds suck even before going through the built in sound system in the sim.
  24. Jack, Just noticed something. On our Q's, one of the spoilers is black (inboard). I'll ask a maintenance guy what the top of the wing looks like. perhaps one is just black and the rest of the wing is not for some reason.
  25. This is just a fantasy that I would love to see, and I think the CRJ would be the one that would make it happen. This is by no means a request for the initial release, I would rather be flying it and get this later as an upgrade. Ok The Idea: Since the CRJ is an airliner, how cool would it be to have a plugin that simulates the various functions that happen to an airliner while on the ground and in the air? An airliner needs to be deplaned/bags unloaded Groomed Re catered Bags and passengers re loaded Fuel pumped back in In the air, Service needs to be given. Wouldn't it be cool to have a plugin that allows you to enter all of the passengers per row, and if they are a man or a woman, and based on that provide you with a CG envelope, A fuel burn prediction given the length of your routing, and estimate times for them and their bags to be loaded? I would think it would go something like, when you hit a hotkey it gives the boarding authority signal to the plugin, which then estimates that it takes say, 45 seconds per passenger to get up the stairs, put away their bags and settle into their seats. It also has an estimated time to load the bags. It can give random delays to the other factors as well, say the ramp guys don't show up right away and you need to wait for the bags, or fuel, or catering. Once you have everything on board the plugin then asks if you are ready to close the doors. Once you push back, it plays a safety demo tape, and once that is done you get a Cabin Secure PA. Same thing on the decent, when you turn on the seatbelts light, it gives a cabin secure message after a given time based on how long the flight is, and how many passengers are aboard. This might be a pipe dream, but it would be cool to have some sort of way to simulate passengers and other crew, and the times that they take to do their jobs. (EG, you can't pull onto the runway to take off without the cabin secure chime from the FA)
