  1. After 2 days of adjusting, I've managed to fully stabilize it under autopilot. At least on my end. I'll send Cameron an updated flight model and it'll be available for download soon.
  2. It's a really big mystery. I cannot duplicate this rolling and we haven't had any other people asking about it. It's obvious that it's happening to the OP, which is why I can't figure this one out. I'm still working to try to see what may be causing it.
  3. I'll have a play around with the autopilot stability settings today and see what I come up with. Thanks for pointing out that it was under autopilot, guys. I honestly must have completely missed that. Apologies
  4. I tried duplicating this every which way to Sunday, and for the life of me, I cannot duplicate this roll. The only thing I can suggest is to possibly re-calibrate your hardware. I'll bring this up with Cameron when I see him and see what he makes of it. Please check the short video I made. That is flying with hands completely off the controls. LES_Duchess_1.mov
  5. I was unable to duplicate the rolling with "hands off". The Duchess has counter rotating props, which balance the torque out on each engine, thereby eliminating any torque roll. As far as I am aware, there have not been any other people having this type of behavior. However, I'll try and help you in here. First off, could you please post a screenshot of your joystick calibration page, and we'll start from there.
  6. Thanks for the post, Andrew! I'm sure it will come in handy for many others using Airtrack.
  7. Many thanks for the comments, gentlemen!
  8. Won't be for a while yet. Waaaay too early to say for sure.
  9. After trying everything I can to fix this roll issue, and consulting with Cameron, it looks like it may be an X-Plane issue. I tested out 9 other aircraft. 5 default and 4 payware, 1 airliner and 8 GA's, and all have the exact same behaviour. So, time for me to file a bug report.
  10. I tried it and it does seem to hold it's bank for quite a long time. I'll work on the flight model tonight and see what I can do about this roll inertia. This current update was strictly a flight model update to make sure gauges, external lighting (Strobes, nav lights), and a few other bits and pieces were brought up to XP10 level. I didn't change the roll inertia from the XP9 version, so it's a bit of a mystery to what is going on.
  11. The modeling and flight model have been done. Texturing has started, but we're dedicating all our time to the Saab for now. Once the Saab is finished, the Citation will be getting most of the attention (I have another fully modeled aircraft waiting to get some color.)
  12. I will have a look at this in XP10 some time today and post back.
  13. This is a minor (expected) hiccup for all of us. Having a 64 bit Flight sim is a huge step in the right direction for everyone. And a very welcome one. There are pro's and cons for everything, however, in this case, the only con is a short wait for Gizmo to be upgraded. In the meantime, you can still enjoy add ons that have plug ins by simply double clicking the 32 bit X Plane icon in the root folder. Everything runs perfectly under the new 32 bit beta.
  14. Very nice. Keep up the good work. Goran
  15. The DC-3 uses Gizmo 11 for various systems...particularly, the engine ignition system. Gizmo is not 64 bit yet, however, Ben Russell has been working very hard to get the next version of Gizmo to 64 bit compatibility. If you start the DC-3 under 64 bit X Plane half the systems and gauges won't work. There is no timeline as to when Gizmo will be ready, seeing as the latest X Plane beta is primarily for developers to start working to bring their plug ins up to 64 bit. For now, select the 32 bit X Plane icon if you want to fly the DC-3.
  16. That's the plan. But no guarantees just yet.
  17. 60 000 polygons for a whole plane??? My OCD would go absolutely off the scale! Edit: Just an FYI, most FSX models these days are exceeding, on average, 300 000 polygons in total
  18. Zach Cameron has posted the same screenshot on X-Aviations Facebook page. Should be able to see it there. http://www.facebook.com/XAviation?fref=ts
  19. This bug was specifically for XP10.
  20. Still too early to say when it will be ready. But it will definitely be soon. We're all working very long hours to have it out as soon as possible.
  21. I'll have a look and I'll get a new flight model to Cameron within the next 24 to 48 hours.
  22. I just spoke to Tom Kyler, who made the default King Air, and he spoke to Ben Supniik about this icing issue, and they both confirmed it IS an X Plane bug and it has now gone higher up the chain to be addressed.
  23. I've just had a very thorough look through the flight model and also some other aircraft. It appears to be an X Plane bug. I loaded up the default King Air, set temps to 12°F with heavy precipitation and turned on the Engine Anti Ice (INLET in the top right corner in the screenshot below). Left Engine works fine. Right Engine, icing continues to build up. Could I ask you to try another payware aircraft (Equipped with Anti Ice) and run the same icing tests. I tried it on the King Air because it;s an X Plane default aircraft, and if anything should work, it'll be a default aircraft. EDIT: Bug report has been sent to Laminar. I'll post back with any replies I get. Thanks for your patience. Goran

    DC-3 Rosinenbomber

Looks great, Andreas! Very nicely done!
  25. The "official" update is still being worked on and is not ready yet. But I will try to reproduce the problem and, if it isn't too complex, I will outline a series of steps for you to take to make adjustments in the flight model. Expect a post soon.
