Files have been updated and they have been sent to Cameron. There should be an email sent out and new installer available sometime very soon. Please note: This new update will ONLY work with the latest X-Plane update and NOT in 64 bit...yet. Thanks for your patience.

For the needles, set your flight models per frame to 2 or 3 (Found under Setting/Operations and Warnings) And yes, the engines will fail if you run the engines past redline for too long. Here's a video someone posted when they had the power at max for too long. http://youtu.be/stlZWkNfkDA

I'll check the new datarefs and add them today. Cameron will have an update out very soon. The only way the end user can fix this is by manually editing the obj file in the objects folder. If you want, and depending on what is involved, I could type up a small paragraph on how to do this yourself. Many apologies for this!

Anti Ice does work, but on one side only. This is a confirmed X-Plane bug as it happens in the default aircraft as well. It has been logged and acknowledged by Laminar and a fix will be issued in a forthcoming X-Plane update. Apologies for this. Goran

The DC-3 is getting Auto lean and Auto Rich put into it. I discussed it with Cameron the other day and I'm waiting for Theo to get back (He's gone away for a few days) so we can put out an interim update that fixes the ADF and then we'll put out another update that takes care of Auto Lean and Auto Rich.

You certainly have a lot more hours than I do. To answer your questions, if I recall (It's been a while since I've flown one) deploying flaps pitches the nose down a couple degrees. I can certainly check this out and correct it. Counter rotating props that negate P-Factor ARE modeled.

My homenage to this beautiful plane

That's actually quite an impressive landing for the conditions! Very nicely done! -

Not yet. It'll be out soon after the Saab.

After 2 days of adjusting, I've managed to fully stabilize it under autopilot. At least on my end. I'll send Cameron an updated flight model and it'll be available for download soon.

It's a really big mystery. I cannot duplicate this rolling and we haven't had any other people asking about it. It's obvious that it's happening to the OP, which is why I can't figure this one out. I'm still working to try to see what may be causing it.
-
I'll have a play around with the autopilot stability settings today and see what I come up with. Thanks for pointing out that it was under autopilot, guys. I honestly must have completely missed that. Apologies
-
I tried duplicating this every which way to Sunday, and for the life of me, I cannot duplicate this roll. The only thing I can suggest is to possibly re-calibrate your hardware. I'll bring this up with Cameron when I see him and see what he makes of it. Please check the short video I made. That is flying with hands completely off the controls. LES_Duchess_1.mov

I was unable to duplicate the rolling with "hands off". The Duchess has counter rotating props, which balance the torque out on each engine, thereby eliminating any torque roll. As far as I am aware, there have not been any other people having this type of behavior. However, I'll try and help you in here. First off, could you please post a screenshot of your joystick calibration page, and we'll start from there.

Thanks for the post, Andrew! I'm sure it will come in handy for many others using Airtrack.

Won't be for a while yet. Waaaay too early to say for sure.

After trying everything I can to fix this roll issue, and consulting with Cameron, it looks like it may be an X-Plane issue. I tested out 9 other aircraft. 5 default and 4 payware, 1 airliner and 8 GA's, and all have the exact same behaviour. So, time for me to file a bug report.
-
I tried it and it does seem to hold it's bank for quite a long time. I'll work on the flight model tonight and see what I can do about this roll inertia. This current update was strictly a flight model update to make sure gauges, external lighting (Strobes, nav lights), and a few other bits and pieces were brought up to XP10 level. I didn't change the roll inertia from the XP9 version, so it's a bit of a mystery to what is going on.

The modeling and flight model have been done. Texturing has started, but we're dedicating all our time to the Saab for now. Once the Saab is finished, the Citation will be getting most of the attention (I have another fully modeled aircraft waiting to get some color.)
-
I will have a look at this in XP10 some time today and post back.

This is a minor (expected) hiccup for all of us. Having a 64 bit Flight sim is a huge step in the right direction for everyone. And a very welcome one. There are pro's and cons for everything, however, in this case, the only con is a short wait for Gizmo to be upgraded. In the meantime, you can still enjoy add ons that have plug ins by simply double clicking the 32 bit X Plane icon in the root folder. Everything runs perfectly under the new 32 bit beta.
-
Very nice. Keep up the good work. Goran

The DC-3 uses Gizmo 11 for various systems...particularly, the engine ignition system. Gizmo is not 64 bit yet, however, Ben Russell has been working very hard to get the next version of Gizmo to 64 bit compatibility. If you start the DC-3 under 64 bit X Plane half the systems and gauges won't work. There is no timeline as to when Gizmo will be ready, seeing as the latest X Plane beta is primarily for developers to start working to bring their plug ins up to 64 bit. For now, select the 32 bit X Plane icon if you want to fly the DC-3.

That's the plan. But no guarantees just yet.
