  1. Absolutely, 100%...there is a DEFINITE chance you'll get this before christmas. Kidding aside, files have been submitted. Shouldn't be long. The installer is quite complex.
  2. Don't forget Theo. Apology accepted.
  3. Quit while you're ahead, cabnz.
  4. The only way to take it off completely is to disable Gizmo from the plugins menu or remove the folder.
  5. Oh that. That's just the Gizmo tool tray. It doesn't always stay there. It only appears when you move the mouse over to the side of the screen and then disappears after a few seconds. It's designed to be inconspicuous and will not appear unless you really want it to by, as I said, moving the mouse over to the side of the screen.
  6. I honestly don't know what graphic chart you're referring to. Could you please post a screenshot so I can get a better idea of what we're talking about?
  7. Derek There are many ways to deal with issues that you may be having. And we are more than willing to help in any way we can. But calling us "arrogant" is definitely one way to not get the help you want. Please, be respectful and we will reciprocate that respect tenfold. Now, what graphic chart are you referring to?
  8. Just an FYI, Vinny...you can press Shift+Space to save screenshots to the x-plane root folder.
  9. Here's what is happening. After living though one of the worst headcolds I've had for quite a while over the last week, I was finally able to focus on the update (non-functioning gauges) Files have been submitted and were about to published. However, I saw another question posted about the fuel selector, and we've decided to add that fix into the update as well. The fuel selector will take less than a day to fix and that will be the final addition. Apologies for the delay, but head colds really suck! EDIT: Fuel Selectors are now fixed. Working nicely. Expect an update very soon.
  10. Programming continues. Nothing much more than that. It will be as complex as the Saab, but it won't take as long to finish.
  11. It's a very difficult one to "fix". I have it running on paved surfaces, pretty much, perfectly. Gravel and grass is tricky. I CAN make it a bit slicker, but then it would skid all over a wet surface. When i originally made the flight model, I made it for wet and dry paved surfaces, because there are many more of them than there are dirt and grass surfaces. I can TRY to tweak it a bit more, but I'm not sure it would be possible without affecting its performance on paved surfaces.
  12. Gents We are aware of a few small issues with the update and they have been addressed and are being looked into. The fixes will not take as long as the Saab update (which was a lengthy one due to heavy optimizations in code). If there are other support issues, please post them in their own thread. Thanks
  13. They have a reputation. Simple as that.
  14. Not really sure where you could be going wrong. We've had many people follow the included tutorial with no issues and many successful takeoffs and landings. Please read through the tutorial and follow it precisely, step by step.
  15. We're still investigating. Nothing has changed with regards to animations in the cockpit, so it's either in the reworked scripts or the new version of Gizmo. We're still looking into it and we'll have a fix very soon. Again, my personal apologies.
  16. Chuck Can you confirm that it is the wheels variant you are seeing this in?
  17. Yeah. You broke somethin'. If the Duchess won't start, then it's definitely something to do with X-Plane (that's why the restart worked. The Duchess has no code).
  18. Do you know that I was banned from x-plane.org? That an x-plane.org developer tried to poach me away from X-Aviation and I was also re-assured that I would get a better deal than what Cameron was offering? Did you know that Jim Gregory is now on mod review because he made 1 mention of Gizmo at the org? That Theo is on mod review because he posted 1 screenshot (within the orgs screenshot guidelines) of the DC-3 and was warned against advertising X-Aviation products? (Never mind the fact that x-plane.org developers are free to post anything they want at these forums) None of us like the way we were treated by Nicolas or the moderators, yet you don't see any of us making hateful, derogatory posts of anything at x-plane.org or their store and what they sell. (I can point you to several examples of what they have said about us) Even though, as you say, we are completely and unequivocally entitled to. But hey, I guess that's just how we roll. Anyway, glad you won't be replying, because I would rather not derail the thread. I just wanted to reply to your post and close the subject. Let's hope you'll change your mind about Gizmo when the Saab update comes out (I think you know the post I am referring to) seeing as the Saab wouldn't have been possible without it.
  19. That was my next suggestion. Glad you got it sorted.
  20. Small update. I've looked into the animation of the QNH of both variants, and there is nothing suggesting why the wheel version isn't working. So I plan on copying a section of the float variant obj file that involves the QNH to the wheel variant obj file and hopefully this will fix it. Apologies for this.
  21. Not offended in these forums. But I do follow the forums at x-plane.org and have seen every single comment there regarding the Saab.
  22. It shouldn't be. I'll have a look sometime today, if I can (I have a serious head cold!).
  23. Feel free to let us know if you are interested in getting the update. Seeing as you deleted the aircraft, I'm not sure you want it anymore. Seeing as you deleted the Saab, and you are the only person who has ever asked for a LITE version, the answer would be "no". You're absolutely right. What is the use of having a plane that is "the most complete and realistic" if you can't fly her. (Thank you for that compliment on the realism!) Next time, I'll have Theo, Jim, Cameron and myself record what we do with our magic wands and how we laugh at everyone who get single digit fps. I would also appreciate it if you didn't make fun of my magic wand. It works! Sent from my desktop Windows using....my magic wand!
  24. That's quite a big difference, and one I haven't noticed. Give me a few days to have a look (I've been up to my armpits in Saab and DC-3 updates lately) and I'll run some tests.
  25. 1: Make sure you have an altitude dialled in to the APA before engaging the CLIMB mode. Also, the CLIMB function "remembers" the last profile that was engaged, so each time it is pressed, it will select the next profile (High-Medium-Low). Also, make sure the autopilot is definitely engaged. The Saab Autopilot switch needs to be pressed and HELD for about 2 seconds. Otherwise it will just disengage. This is a safety measure on the real Saab. 2. For frequencies...Not at the moment. We may have a solution for this in the update. We're happy with alt select. What is it about this that you think needs improving? 3. Do you ARM the CTOT by setting both CTOT switches to ARM? Also, the Power Levers need to be at or above 64³ as indicated by the throttle console pop up and engine torque needs to be within 15% of CTOT torque setting.
