  1. Just to be clear, you downloaded the rar file, unpacked it, and placed the contents in the objects folder, overwriting what was originally in there, correct?
  2. Hi Bob Am I correct in assuming you mean the re-assigning of the axis for the Condition Levers each time the sim is started or is it the hardware that is not working with the Condition levers?
  3. $50? Is that all??? I helped make that plane and even I'm tempted to buy it at that price! You could always just wait and see.
  4. Update on the C23. I've been trying to squeeze in as much time as I can to get this update out, and it's slowly coming together. Seeing as the Citation is taking up most of my time. If all goes well, texturing will start some time this week. So far, what's new: Fuselage Landing Gear Props Wings Panel (all of it, including gauges) New doors that (finally) open and close Flight model tweaks (including small engine adjustments) Still considering a few other things, but I'll decide on those later. Hopefully I can meet the end of year deadline I've given myself.
  5. Vette, I have been asked numerous times what advice I would give to people trying to make aircraft. My advice is always the same and it was also given to me by Javier Rollon. DO NOT make something big. If you are new to making aircraft, or even new to Blender, start with the smallest, easiest aircraft you can. An ultralight would be my suggestion. You'll finish it quicker, you will learn a lot in the process, and you will see it in the sim, completed, a lot earlier than you would a larger aircraft. A larger aircraft will test your patience, and you will likely lose interest and give up. There are no shortcuts. Have patience and learn from your mistakes. Back to IXEG discussion.
  6. Unfortunately, it won't be ready this year. Testing takes minimum 4-6 weeks, and we're not even up to that point yet. During testing, several release candidates need to go out to the testers as each bug is found and fixed. If I would hazard a VERY rough guess, possibly/probably 1st quarter of '16, if all goes well. Based on what's in it now, and what we can put in it as development continues, it'll be worth it. This is how it looks at the moment...
  7. Taking this to PM
  8. Weight of Aviation fuel is 6.01 lbs per gallon. Total fuel able to load in the DC-3: 4948lbs Dividing 4948 by 6.01 gives me 823.29 gallons max fuel load. Someone wasn't paying attention in maths class. If you think there is something amiss, please post a screenshot of your fuel and payload screen and we can confirm.

  10. Wow, that post I made was quite a while ago. Yes, the update is in progress for both the Sundowner and Duchess. Obviously taking longer than expected due to Citation commitments, but it IS happening. Sundowner is getting done first. Duchess will follow.
  11. I looked at your Log.txt file and could only find 1 mention of Gizmo. "D:\Program Files (x86)/X-Plane/Resources/plugins/Gizmo64.plugin/64/win.xpl : Error Code = 127 : No se encontró el proceso especificado." or... "The specified process is not found" Gizmo is not installed. Have you removed Gizmo? If you have, Then Skymaxx will not run.
  12. Please post your Log.txt (found in your root x plane folder.)
  13. You're welcome.
  14. Helluva first post!
  15. Unfortunately, the more comprehensive ones will cost you. You will not get a fully detailed procedural manual for free. The manuals we received for development were given to me by 3 separate Saab pilots. Both hard copy pages and digital manuals. So, for obvious reasons, I cannot share them. Just to give you an idea at why they cost money, the manuals we have total about 2500 pages spread across 6 different pdf files and hard copy documents.
  16. Gotta look a little harder, gents. Found these two within 3 minutes. http://www.eflightmanuals.com/ITEM_EFM/SITEM_EFM.asp?cID=3333 https://www.esscoaircraft.com/c-6483-saab-aircraft.aspx Free versions below...but then again, you get what you pay for. http://www.smartcockpit.com/plane/SAAB/SAAB-340.html
  17. Your dx value is far, far too low. Like, ridiculously low. Your values are not snapping from 0 to 4000. They are going in 100 ft increments. They're just going too fast for you to see. The dx value is the distance travelled, in pixels, across the screen, for the values to go from 0 to 4000. In this case, 33% the distance of 1 pixel. You're going from 0 to 4000 in LESS THAN 1 PIXEL. The drag needs to be the pixel distance. So for a high resolution screen, say 4096 pixels across, a good number would be about 2500 for the dx value, depending on the speed you're looking for. This would allow you to go from 0 to 4000 by dragging across about half the screen. The lower the number, the faster the values change due to the shorter distance required for the drag travel. Want it to go slower, INCREASE the dx value. Also, change your exp to at least 1. This will make it a linear drag, regardless of drag speed. Hope this made sense. It's getting late and I've been unwrapping and texturing for the last 16 hours.
  18. We've been dedicating a lot of time to Citation development, and it's an aircraft we really want to finish ASAP. Because of this, I've found it quite difficult to find spare time to work on the Sundowner, but I can definitely say it WILL be done. If I had to give you a definite completion date, I can safely say it will be done before the end of year. Earlier than that? Probably.
  19. I'm not going to have anyone post anything negative or derogatory about X-Aviation, it's staff, or it's developers in our forums. This is a work in progress forum for the Citation. Not a rant forum. And to answer your question, will I sell the Citation at the org? Zero chance of that happening. And it's not a vendetta. The reason is simple. Nicolas does not respect XA or it's developers. If a publisher does not respect me, then he cannot respect my work. I could never sell on a site under those circumstances.
  20. Not just yet. I'm adding a lot more detail (3D mesh and texture) than what was previously shown. When I'm happy with what I have, I'll post a series of screenshots.
  21. Coding is a lot of fun? Then you're not doing it right!
  22. The upper disc is the heading you want to go. (Adjustable) The lower disc is a directional gyro. (Not adjustable)
  23. The tutorial is based on REX Airlines procedures. When I say "don't touch the Power Levers when turning CTOT off", that refers to initial climb out. The Power Levers are set to approximately 15% less than CTOT power. That setting of the Power Levers doubles as your climb out power setting. Once clear of the airports air space, make adjustments as necessary.
  24. We thought of that while it was in development, but what we find useful for particular keys, others may not find useful. Ultimately, it's all down to personal preference. What views the customer wants with what particular keys.
