The original message I posted here has been deleted. I have sent Dan an email asking him to change his post to not suggest I compensated for the animations in the HSI. The HSI I modelled and animated took about a week (minus the texturing) to make. That includes fixing the 4° misalignment.

Thanks for your comments re the Duchess. Unfortunately, there is no way to remove the Garmin without the source file for the 3D mesh. I personally don't think the blue is that pronounced. We made it so it was as least distracting as possible.

Nearly there. Manipulators are getting done. We have 10 liveries all up. I'll post those in the next day or two.

Getting close to the final night lighting. It's pretty much where we want it. Red annunciators are going to be fixed to be dark. The red is x planes default lighting.

The 340B, although something I would have loved to make first off, has an FMC. The FMC would take at least several months to code on its own. Not to mention tying it in to all the systems. I think (and correct me if I'm wrong) Javier Cortez's UFMC was 2 years in development. We also thought the A would have been the logical choice and then make the B afterwards. Although the B will not be worked on until after the 747 series.

I finally bought an external hard drive today. 2TB.

Just spent the last 2 days getting the engine gauges working properly. Turbines are such fun. Especially when the engine spins much faster than the prop. It's a good thing I don't mind math. Lots of testing now. Just preliminary stuff. Making sure it all works properly. More manipulators and clickspots to add. Also, with all textures at their maximum resolution of 2048 x 2048 and all the Gizmo coding, I'm getting 40+fps in the air with an E6750 and a 1GB Graphics card. Some textures WILL be reduced before we finish though. And a screenshot to show the artificial horizon (3D mesh version) duplicating the EFIS artificial horizon.

Don't forget the millions locked away in a bank somewhere in Sierra Leone. Just give them every bit of personal info about yourself and $3000 as a fee to release the millions.

Spinners will be fixed. Theo wants to finish the repaints first before he does anything else while I add all the manipulators in the cockpit. While I do manipulators, Theo will do repaints. Whether or not it's for V10 only or both V10 and V9 depends on how many people will prefer to stay with V9. From what I have heard, it will be much easier to migrate V9 to V10 but not so easy the other way around, so it might be best if we do it for V9 first and then migrate. Might change my screen name back. Or I might find a cooler one. We'll see. The avatar will definitely stay!

Not much to mention regarding the progress of the 747's. Theo and myself have been extremely busy working on the Saab for the last couple of months. Once it's done, we're both taking a 1 week break and then we'll dive into the 747 stuff. I originally wanted the 747-200 ready by end of this year, but we decided to finish the Saab first. We're hoping the 747 will be ready some time in the next 6-9 months. We'll post some more work in progress screenshots in the coming weeks/months.

Pretty much. Just a few small fixes are needed. Maybe a few hours work. A little more coding, testing and finishing the manual will be done in the next few weeks.

Fine tuning some interior textures atm. I can finally put up a textured cabin screenshot.
