  1. I wanted the bigger room in the house but the wife wouldn't have any of it.
  2. Yes. Theo will get a paintkit up soon after he finishes the liveries.
  3. We have a shortlist of liveries. What Theo is working on so far, besides Duggy, is Icelandair, Buffalo Airways, Rosinenbomber and Swedair. They are pretty much done, but, with the exception of Duggy, we have to grunge them up a little. As they stand now, they are way too clean. And yes, it is the C1 model of the Sperry. That has more code in it than anything else Theo coded.
  4. It'll have most procedures simulated. Although it's only a DC-3 so there are not many systems needing plug ins. But yes, we did add code to enhance the flight model and drive a few systems. Yes.
  5. Wow, kinda taken aback with the response, guys! It's definitely very much appreciated by both Theo and myself! This one really wore us out in a few ways. We're glad to finally see the tail end of the creation of it. To answer this question, it will only have one interior for now. One cabin and one cockpit. This aircraft has really exhausted us in a few different ways. Hard to think so...not like it's a complex airliner...but it was definitely a job that we learned a lot from. We tried many different new things on this. Things that haven't been done before. Some of it worked and some of it didn't. If we went the normal route in making it, we would have finished it about a month or two ago. An example is the overhead radio panel. I modelled a complete overhead with radios. I had to dump that because it wasn't easy to read the displays. So I had to model a new one. That was one of the "small" things. There was something else we tried that took about 6 weeks to finish, and after it was done, we had to dump that as well because it just didn't look right. What we have for now in this package is a wheel version and a float version. I've actually been having a little too much fun with the float version. We'll almost definitely be making a cargo and military version some time in the next few weeks/months. For now, it's just the one cockpit and the one cabin. Once it's out, we'll make an announcement on what we have planned. We're also rolling straight into the Saab 340 and getting that done asap. I think that one is a little overdue and we really want that finished. I have also been making improvements to the Duchess and Sundowner over the last month. Some major improvements. And that will also continue in the next few weeks.
  6. It will DEFINITELY be out before 12-21-2012 (End of the Mayan Calender). lol Valentin...SOON. That's all I can say. We're trying to figure out why 2 or 3 things don't work like we want them to. They "work", but not EXACTLY how we want them to.
  7. Code, testing, code. testing and more code and testing. It will be very soon.
  8. We don't always post progress reports, Steven. After the DC-3 is out, I'll make a few, rather large, "announcements".
  9. Jason posted this on his Facebook profile. Being a pilot is not as glamorous as it used to be. If you absolutely LOVE flying, and don't have any commitments, and are living on a shoestring budget, then it can be ok for the first several years. Otherwise, think twice. What really got me was they can work for 16 hours a day and get paid for only 1 hour. They only get paid from the moment the doors close on the aircraft when departing to the moment the doors open on arrival. No pay for layovers or other time spent at the airport. First year FO on a regional airline can earn $22 000 GROSS. Bus drivers make more than that! http://youtu.be/1gqPH8UZWcw
  10. I am SO showing Theo this thread!!
  11. Thanks guys. Your comments are seriously, very much appreciated. Just want to add that we're doing our very best to hurry up and get it done, but as we always say, we want it done properly. Doesn't matter if it's an ultralight, single engine prop, twin engine turboprop or a jet. We put a lot of hard work and a lot of long hours into our projects to get them looking and flying just right. Keep the comments coming!
  12. Perry, it's in X Plane 9. Not touching X Plane 10 until I get the word that it's out of beta.
  13. We're choosing things that would be authentic and look "nice".
  14. New night lighting screenshot.
  15. The Duke was actually started a while ago. Even before the DC-3. Theo and I were discussing which one to do out of the ones I posted in this poll. The Duke will most probably be done some time this year, but for now, we have the DC-3 and then 3 other projects all lined up to finish in the next 6 months. One of them is the Saab which is finished but for a small amount of coding left for Theo to finish. The other 2, well, I want to keep them under wraps for now.
  16. I'll be doing a whole new upgrade for the flight model for 10 when it is considered stable and out of beta. There are a few other things I need to do for the gauges as well to make the whole thing work in 10. They shouldn't take too long though.
  17. Night lighting is getting a few fixes. Once it's completely done, then I'll post something.
  18. Nothing external just yet. A few things need to be fixed. Theo wants to work on night lighting first and get that out of the way (looks incredible so far, btw) and then he'll make some fixes to the externals, and then I'll throw some more screenshots up.
  19. Happy New Year to you too. I can appreciate what you are saying, but we're limited to what's available to us. Is it possible to make the props feather and NOT windmill? Anything is possible with plug ins. X Plane is not a "perfect" sim. But it comes close.
  20. A small update to keep you informed. Night lighting is being worked on. We still have a few panel regions to take care of for the radios. Manual is half way done and then testing. If things go smoothly, with no other problems, it will definitely be this month.
