  1. The Altitude Selector shouldn't be going that slow. Can I ask what your FOV is set to? If it's set too low, making the panel appear closer to you, then it will be slow. If it's set to a higher number, making more of the panel visible, then the numbers should move a lot faster. The values of the manipulators I set in each animation are calculated in meters across the different axes of the screen and were tested using an FOV of 75. That's why if your FOV is too low, the distance from 1 end of the screen to the other is a lot shorter than if your FOV was set to a higher number. (Hope that all makes sense)
  2. I'll let Jim reply to your radio issue. Re the VS adjuster. You'll need to look closely to see if it has been moved as it is a spring loaded adjuster. Meaning it will move, I think, about 30° either way and stop. Holding it there will continuously move the VS numbers up or down on the EADI. Letting the mouse button go will snap it back to center. The altitude selector had to be animated so as to leave enough room for people to select the altitude correctly without overshooting due to the speed of the adjustment. It's a real pain when trying to select, for example 22 000 feet and not being able to hit that number on the selector due to the speed of the numbers.
  3. Just a total shot in the dark here, but what if you disable ALL plug ins except Gizmo?
  4. Good review. Thanks for posting it! I've added it to the LES Facebook page.
  5. It's got to do with the shine that is added to objects. I added shine to the windows to make them reflect. The exterior also has it, but nowhere near as much as the glass.
  6. This is an x-plane issue. It happens somewhere else on the aircraft (but I'm not going to say where ) We spent several weeks trying to get rid of it, but it wasn't possible and we determined it was something within the sim. It's something you'll unfortunately have to put up with until Laminar address it.
  7. We don't have a timeframe for the Citation yet.
  8. Let me speak to Jim on the subject and run a few tests and I'll post back in a few hours.
  9. Please confirm which crossfeed you turned on. There are 2 of them. For a better look, I attached a diagram.
  10. Flo, let me ask you this. In your last post in this thread, in the top picture, could that be the sun reflecting in the glass? I've tried just about every scenario to duplicate it and couldn't get the blue, but I did get the yellow and it slowly disappeared as the sun kept going down.
  11. There's definitely something you're missing. If it happens again, maybe try a reinstall.
  12. I'll look into it. How long after flying does this happen (approximately)?
  13. Can you give me more information on this? Are the sun shades up, down or mixed? Render settings? Any mods done using the environmental datarefs? Location? Time? Season? As much info as possible so I can attempt to recreate it.
  14. Just a small note to say many, many thanks to everyone who took advantage of the sale, as well as a huge thanks to everyone who purchased it at the full price. The sale was phenomenally successful (way more so than any of us expected) and we all hope you enjoy flying this aircraft. Thanks again! Cheers, Goran (Speaking for Cameron, Theo, Jim and Ben)
  15. You can tune the ILS into the NAV radios and manually follow the course bars (on the VOR) on descent. Make sure they are centered. If the horizontal course bar is below the center line, you are too high and vice versa.
  16. Not without changing the animation keyframes in the obj8 file.
  17. Let's not get too far ahead of ourselves here, gents. I said I would rather make a connie over a DC-4. I didn't say we would do it after the Citation. We'll see what happens. 1 project at a time.
  18. Correct. The transponder is the Garmin GTX 327. We're waiting on the next update to X-Plane, particularly in the way of a GPS. Then we can make a decision on where we go from there. Whether it's a custom GPS or X-Plane default.
  19. Can't say yet. When the Citation is finished, then we'll probably make a mention of the next project.
  20. Can't see us making a DC-4 anytime soon. Got a pretty full plate at the moment. I'd rather make a Constellation.
  21. Another small update. This time on the radios and Garmin GTX. All radios and the Garmin work as per the Collins and Garmin documentation. So we're talking 100% simulated radio hardware. All manipulators for the radios and fine & coarse tuning have been completely reworked and are now click and drag and are much easier to control. These will be added to a future update of the Saab as well.
  22. Everything you wanted to know about the DC-3 http://www.douglasdc3.com/
  23. That depends on too many factors. Altitude. Pressure Altitude. Temperature. Winds. Always check the charts.
  24. Assume they will be damaged within seconds. The engines should NEVER be at a setting where it flashes the warning up. That's telling you that engine failure is imminent and you must reduce power immediately. This varies with environmental conditions.
