  1. Best bet would be to take it to a computer store and have it looked at properly.
  2. First thing you need to do is check that ALL your fans are working. Especially the CPU and Graphics card fans. I once put together a computer and the fan was properly secured and was hanging off the 2 bottom pins with the 2 top pins completely detached and the fan not doing much cooling. The computer would die after booting up. Also, check that all fans are free of dust. You would be surprised how many people don't blow the dust out of their PC case, particularly the graphics card. I've seen some PC cases look like the cookie monster was stuck inside. Take the acrd out and really blow all the dust out of it.. Make sure you earth yourself before doing so. Static electricity to circuit boards is like a lightning bolt to humans.
  3. I'll have to load it up and check these items you mentioned. It's been pretty hectic around me, so I haven't had much of a chance to really check the forums. Give me about another day.
  4. Check this forum topic.
  5. Please download and unzip this file. Place it in your objects folder. Overwrite the old file if it asks you to overwrite it. Floats.rar

    Fuel gauges

There are 2 crossfeed switches. 1 says CONN VALVE which simply opens a valve between the tanks and equalizes the fuel when flying straight and level. The other 1 says "FUEL XFEED" which pumps fuel from 1 tank to another. If both these switches are off/closed, your fuel is set unevenly in x-planes fuel and load manager. Your Power levers or Condition levers could also be set unevenly. If they are, the Power lever or Condition lever that is set for more power/RPM is burning fuel at a higher rate in the corresponding engine than the other one.

    Fuel gauges

Check your crossfeed is turned OFF. It looks like you're pumping fuel from the right tank to the left tank.
  8. I think I may have found the problem. I'll discuss with Cameron and see what we can do about getting an update out asap. Just an FYI, the landing gear being stuck in the down position when you raise it from the cockpit has no effect on the flight model. The ACTUAL landing gear of the flight model IS being raised. So keep flying as if nothing is wrong for the time being.
  9. What I can tell you for certain is that it is definitely something with your X-Plane installation. While we're at it, I know it sounds silly, but check that you are running X Plane 64 bit. NOT the 32 bit version.
  10. Ok, lets start with posting screenshots of the problem you are experiencing. Please post a screenshot of the DC-3 (float version) on the runway with gear down and one with gear up so I can see exactly what is going on. Please make sure ALL plug ins EXCEPT Gizmo are disabled.
  11. Just run the installer. I think it asks you to uninstall the DC-3 first before reinstalling. After reinstalling, reinstall Gizmo.
  12. If we can't replicate it, then there's nothing more we can do to help with the problem. The only thing I suggest is completely uninstall it and then re-download/re-install.
  13. Not sure why you are seeing this gear problem. I suggest you go here and submit a support ticket.
  14. Yes, you definitely have the older Gizmo version if you're getting a screaming loud sound when loading a sasl add on. You need to update Gizmo.
  15. Ok, I just had a look at these issues. The gear DOES work as it should. The water rudder control is the same as the tail wheel lock control. I'll sort out the texture issue and we'll issue an update soon that corrects this, but pulling the tail wheel lock control WILL control the water rudder for the time being. I checked the sounds and I cannot hear anything wrong with them. Engines sound like they're spooling up in interior and exterior view. Re the gear and sound issue, it's possible you have an older version of Gizmo installed. When you are in sim, go to the top menu...click Plugins->Gizmo64->About Gizmo and let me know the version number. Goran
  16. woah! Easy cowboy. You posted your first question at 7:11PM (my time) and then you posted this question here 13 minutes later. At this time of night, I'm eating dinner and relaxing, Theo is doing the same thing and Cameron and Jim, who live in the US are most likely sleeping. If you have a support question for the DC-3, you'll need to start a new topic in these forums and one of us will get back to you as soon as reasonably possible. Thanks Goran
  17. Jim and I have discussed this at great length, and we would like to have it included in the Saab. We're going to revisit the idea when we get close to completing the Citation. No promises yet.
  18. To add to Jim's post, yes, the military/radar variant DOES have the radar modeled into the flight model. The way it behaves in sim is up to the sim itself. Goran
  19. Roger, We COULD make a clickspot to hide the yokes. I'll discuss with everyone and see what we come up with.
  20. C-130 is a big project. No plans on doing one yet.

    Gravel runways?

In my opinion, there's always been an issue with gravel runways in X-Plane. I tested the flight model on hard surface runways for it's takeoff and landing roll. Going on gravel, things went very bad. I haven't ever landed an aircraft on a gravel runway when I was flying, so I cannot tell how loose they can be. In any case, the Saab isn't meant to land on a gravel runway..probably because of the weight. The reverse thrust ratio of the Saab engines is only 0.2 of max forward thrust. So it is not really that much to stop it on a gravel runway. Regarding your 2nd issue, not really sure why you are getting these figures. We tested the flight model at several different altitudes and several different configurations. I'll have a look at it and see if I can duplicate your figures and take it from there.
  22. No-brainer. Skymaxx Pro.
  23. Tire friction has been decreased and will be in the next update. Further testing is still ongoing because we want to make sure we got all the remaining bugs ironed out.
  24. I'll get in touch with him and get him to reply in here.
  25. If you want to use any objects, that'd be me you need to contact. If you want to use textures, that's Theo's department.
