  1. Sending more than 1 support ticket pushes your support request to the bottom of the list each time you send one. That's why you haven't heard back from them. Just send 1 ticket and you will be attended to.
  2. Hover your mouse over the User Preferences in the Gizmo sidebar to the right, and left click. You'll see this pop up. Put a check mark in the boxes of your choice. Use scroll wheel for more accurate selection of heading or course. Adjust heading and you will see your heading change in the top left.
  3. Depends on weight, temperature, wind, baro pressure, climb mode, engine power setting, etc... The higher you go, the less torque the engines put out at the original PL setting. So feel free to increase Power by adjusting the Power Levers as you climb. Just keep an eye on your torque gauge.
  4. I'll have a look at these points and post back. Just for clarification, are you using the free castoring tail wheel or the steerable version?
  5. First of all, we will never say "ours is better because of this, this and that". Our philosophy has, and always will be, let the work speak for itself. Everything we do in an add on, we build on it in the next add on. We don't really like sharing what tech we've added to our works in progress, but in saying that, if you like the Saab, and the systems accuracy we achieved in that, then you can get a pretty good idea with the accuracy and fidelity we have in store for the Citation. And then some.
  6. No updates to speak of. Programming continues. There's a lot of internals in a private jet. Especially to the level we're making it.
  7. Please post Gizmolog.txt found in your x-plane root folder.
  8. Illegal copies wouldn't even be able to get the aircraft started. Please make sure ALL avionics switches are turned on. The entire overhead panel annunciators should be "lights out". If that doesn't work, please post your Gizmolog.txt and Log.txt files found in your x-plane root folder.
  9. I'll go through the AOM procedure in sim and, once verified, will have a checklist up for you soon.
  10. If you are having any issues with, not just the Saab, but any product, we kindly ask that you start a separate thread for that particular issue. Please do not post various issues in the update announcement thread. Many thanks.
  11. Keep in mind, when retracting or extending anything hydraulically powered, there is a significant loss in hydraulic pressure, so the pump will remain on for several seconds.
  12. Fast-Slow Indicator Green diamond shaped pointer indicates the difference between the speed selected with the bug on the IAS indicator and the actual IAS. 1 dot = 5 kts difference Fast or Slow (F/S) index = 10 kts difference
  13. Kerry, perhaps if you can be more specific to what you're looking for, maybe one of us can help you out. You said you wanted information on the Autopilot and navigation. The tutorial covers enough of that to get you familiar with the different autopilot modes AND using the radios to navigate. The manual has an entire chapter, which I provided reference to in the post above, on the autopilot. And just going by your last post, if you have trouble understanding the manual we provided, you'll have a harder time understanding the technical side of the official manual, as we had to refer to the pilots we had on our testing team several times for clarification on what seemed like conflicting statements throughout the AOM.
  14. Systems Manual. Page 191-209. Everything on the Autopilot is explained there.
  15. Try the flight tutorial included with the package.
  16. I'm going to be perfectly blunt with you, but I have no idea how you managed that. The animations for that are keyed so they DON'T stop half way. I just tried duplicating it and couldn't do it even after 3 reloads of each variant. The only way it could be done is if you changed the values in dataref editor or changed the values in the obj file. I can talk to the others and see if they can duplicate it, but I seriously doubt it.
  17. On a side note, Kerry, I would appreciate it if, echoing Jim's and Cameron's statements, that you choose carefully how you word your comments. You DID say... This can be a damaging statement to us and our product when people are considering purchasing the Saab, who could inadvertently misinterpret your comments This new update has been 8 months in the making. And on top of that, it's free. We take pride in our work, and if any issues arise, we immediately look at the problem and work to resolve it. In saying all this, we feel your question has been answered and we hope you enjoy flying this add on.
  18. Please post your GizmoLog.txt file. (Found in your X-Plane root folder.)
  19. Definitely not correct. Are you sure you installed in your X-PLANE root folder.
  20. That's exactly how it is in the real aircraft. It's a warning that the Autopilot is off and can only be silenced by pilot intervention. Please see Cameron's reply above.
  21. Make sure electrical power is on. Make sure Avionics switches are on. On the actual unit, turn the Power knob on (it's labelled with a "C") located on the units upper left area.
  22. Run the X Plane updater and either update to Beta 3 or revert to the non beta. There was an issue with props in Beta 2
  23. 1. Can you confirm if you are using the free castoring version of the DC-3? To check this, go to exterior view and swing the rudder from left to right. If the tail wheel does not move, it is free castoring and using the rudder pedals will not affect direction unless you're going fast enough. The way you taxi a real DC-3 is increasing/decreasing power in the appropriate engine to elicit a turn response in the direction you wish to go. The same applies on takeoff. Engine power management. 2. I'll look into this one. 3. The other way you can tell is a drop in oil temperature. I assure you, they do work.
  24. I'm sure Cameron will get around to it, but here's one I found on AVSIM.
  25. Unfortunately, this is a limitation of X-Plane, and there is no way around it without access to X-Planes source code.
