  1. N940BN View File This is a repaint based on N940BN, a TBM 940. One video, recorded during a flight of the N940BN, can be found here; There are limited pictures of this livery so I had to use some artistic licence. The registration is painted to the airframe therefore this livery is not suitable for thoses who want to use your own livery (I do plane to upload another version for users to add their own registration). ***To Install*** Copy the folder 'N940BN' to your X-Plane 11 folder \Aircraft\X-Aviation\TBM-900\liveries The real aircraft comes with a mat black spinner and I have added this as an option, but please know that this will effect all your TBM liveries. ***To use the black spinner*** Copy the files 'Propeller' and 'Propeller_NML' from the 'Black Spinner' folder and paste into your X-Plane 11\Aircraft\X-Aviation\TBM-900\objects folder Happy flying Paul Submitter -Paul- Submitted 03/24/2021 Category General Aviation Livery For https://www.x-aviation.com/catalog/product_info.php/take-command-hot-start-tbm-900-p-158 X-Plane Version(s) X-Plane 11

  3. OK, thanks.
  4. Hi, Stevo1kinevo recently released a video flying a new 940 and I was struck by the livery. I've tried to recreate using limited pictures/video and am fairly pleased with the results, nut, I would like to relocate the aircraft registration. I can 'paint this on' but always like the option for me/others to use different registrations. Is it possible to adjust the position?
  5. A much more positive, productive solution than some others on here.

    Rudder trim

Hi Smaze17, Rudder trim is located on the yoke, left hand. The controls for X-Plane are 'yaw trim left' and 'yaw trim right'.
  7. Great aircraft, really enjoying flying her in VR. During a before departure controls check, I noticed the whiskey compass moves when the controls are operated through the pitch axis. The is no movment when controls move through the roll axis.
  8. I've also had this today, but using 11.50b14. Also the AoA HUD indicator lights are off-set. I put this down to b14 as I tend to only use Vulkan and librain and AOA do not work. Sorry, cannot help though.

    No P-Factor

To have the option would be great and appreciated, thanks TBM team and to other users who also expressed their preference to see a more realistic flying experience.

    No P-Factor

Thank you Cameron. The TBM created by Hotstart is, without doubt, the best FS addon I've purchased in the 35 years of simming. Is it possible to give an option to the user to have the effect or not? The video link below is a TBM owner talking about take off and his experience when transitioning from smaller/less powerful aircraft.
  19. You will need to create a new airframe.

    No P-Factor

Hi all, For as long as I can recall I have not experienced any p-factor during take off and/or high power. In fact, I need to apply slight left rudder during the take off run. Since the TBM is my only aircraft I fly now, I'm looking at getting it as good and realistic as is possible. My Hardware is a Alpha Yoke with Cessna Saitek rudder pedals My X-Plane controller settings are (copied from Goran, as raised in another post) Example video https://youtu.be/nl_-GLyjSGI Thanks.

    Used TBM

Thanks Goran, no annoyance, life's too short. I would consider it a nice to have feature. Regards

    Used TBM

Hope all are well. After 6 months of owning the TBM I'm still really enjoying the experience. I would like to know if it is possible to create a used airframe, if not can it be added? Similar to the 'used' option on A2A aircraft. One issue I have is not able to add too many hours to the airframe before I need to replace, either as a result of my lack of care or errors when loading the aircraft. For example, a aircraft with 50 hours on the Hobbs, load incorrectly at a small airfield and slid down a hill causing irreparable damage. This would be a nice to have feature.
  24. Hey Goran, could you share another link for the discord please?
