Hi JGregory The files didn't change anything but I found the problem. Should of check first I guess, but the xsaitekpanels is the problem, I don't use it for anything but the displays so I'm OK. I do wish someone would type a simple plugin for just the displays for the Saitek Panels, would be very useful, the switches can be assigned using USB software and we wouldn't have these conflicts. Oh well, I've said enough I'm fueling up for a trip to KMIA in the new Saab. Happy flyin everyone tomcat357

Update looks good and frame rate is better, but I have one issue when the Saab loads I get the gizmo console with an error. I've attached a screenshot, the box can be closed and I can fly fine but I'm sure something down the road will pop up. I'm on Mac 10.4 and my external view machine is windows 7, both display the same error. Thanks for looking tomcat357 Untitled.tiff

Not at all Ben, you misread my post. I did not mean in any way that anyone is stupid, that is one of the reasons I so seldom comment on these boards. I am sorry if you took it that way. My comment was that the Saitek Panels can be anything you wish and you do not have to be a programmer.. and the Saab is only one of many planes that don't use default assignments or datarefs.

I don’t like jumping in on conversations like this but I think this is a perfect example of how folks have become so dependent on others we have forgotten the very basics of computing. Dinda like pilots having to relearn how to fly because technology does most of it for them now. I am not defending the Saab or gizmo, I am having my own issues with stack overflows, but that’s another issue, but dissing a choice product because someone else don’t support your choice product takes away from real issues that are far more important. The Saitek Panels are USB devices, get that, USB devices, they can be programed by any good USB controller software, key combos, time delays, on and on, the only thing I use Mr. Bills drivers for are the displays and I can live nicely without those. Or you can simply replace the necessary commands in the .ini file for the Saab. Either way, you have to connect the Saitek Panels to your plane.

Been on the water since late 60s, owned a half dozen boats, built a small trawler/yacht in the late 80s. Retired now, I keep the plotting/satalite commumacation systems working on about 20 on so boats for a couple of companies here on the east coast. I'm also renovating my house and I havn't work so hard in all my life.. I use X-Plane as stress relief, sometimes you have to just get away....

Great, I have had half a dozen video cards crap out on various boats. These guys want to keep them under the binnacle shelf which is open to engine room heat. Not good. Heat, that is. Have a great weekend

Oliver, those are all signs of video card dying. You could uninstall your video drivers and see if you get clean video, at low res of course, if so, it's deffinatly video card..Good luck..

As the sun settles on yet another hazy day in the Carolines, I’m reminded that our World is sometimes not full of brilliant reds, plush purples or golden browns, and the sky not filled with Orville Redenbacher pop corn balls. Sometimes our World is just….Beautiful….
