  1. Superminor inaccuracy I found when simulating a battery + air-start-unit engine start. Oil pressure should not be shown when the plane doesn't have AC power. Currently I can see the values even if the AC power is off. This manual is from the CL605 but it seems to be doing that as well on this video before he connects the AC power: https://www.reddit.com/r/aviationmaintenance/comments/rhnqig/of_all_the_ac_power_ups_i_love_the_cl650_the_most/
  2. This simulation is simply excellent, what I would like to request some improvements on is the UI of the knobs. I know that they most likely will not all be regarded positively but I just thought I would throw them out there. First request: Some knobs are very slow at rotating. For example, the CRS preset on the PFD via the CCP it takes me almost 20 seconds to flip it 180 degrees. I don't even want to mention scrolling to a high altitude airport baro minimums. A lot of clicks are "skipped" so the speed actually goes up if rotate mouse scroll wheel slower. This is not something that I have experience with other add-ons. Overall the scrolling is rather slow in this plane as you can notice it on the other knobs as well. Link to a video at my max scroll speed: https://streamable.com/cn6gtq Second request: How about an IXEG style screen pop-up when manipulating the knobs on the CCP/DCP? For me it can happily pop up both screens when manipulating the knobs. Video reference with timestamp if it's unclear what I mean: https://youtu.be/4F92t8jdyjU?t=1526 Third request: Inner and outer knobs are painful to manipulate in a sim with a mouse. Since there are huge texts above the knobs indicating inner and outer and what they do, can the knobs be manipulated hovering the mouse over the text as well? See the first photo. Fourth request: Currently if you want to change something you need to pop out the screen (or both screens), look down and then rotate the knobs. Or pop out the knobs and look at the screen. Could these marked spots in photo 2 pop out the CCP or DCP respectively to reduce up and down looking? Thanks for reading. If something is unclear, please ask away.
  3. Very minor thing that I think is a bug. If you move the ADG test switch to unit in flight it will deploy the ADG. At least for me. From what I can find it shouldn't. This is fromt the challenger 605 manual.
  4. Well, after playing round with it it seems that if I am in calm weather some minor flutter in the joystick doesn't do much, but if there is turbulence some minor flutter does affect it. AFAIK there is no option today where the flutter from the joystick is ignored.
  5. Well, it is not doing that usually. In cruise when it stabilized it calmed down and has been fine since. I tried playing with my joystick now while in AP and I needed to move the joystick a lot to make the yoke move.
  6. I departed in a slightly turbolent weather and the autopilot was quite rough in the yoke. See video: https://streamable.com/i1hcuo This is with ASXP about an hour ago from LHBP.
  7. Hello, we started discussing in the HotStart discord and we where curios why there is no GPS R. When opening the page I get an empty page on the right. Is this correct behaviour?
  8. Thanks for the answer @Litjan. I appreciate it but I like to fly more challenging places, among them Norway where you have strong winds and short runways with obstacles and very common with intersection takeoffs. Going out on a runway that is shorter than 2500 without calculating feels wrong. It would still be very nice to be able to see them, as boring as it sounds. Do you have any clue where they can be found?
  9. Bump. Is no one derating takeoffs? I can only find data for the 22k engine but nothing for the 20k. Is there nothing available?
  10. Actually that is exactly the answer I want to hear! I have been eagerly waiting for the update. Goran mentioned that to help we should use the gizmo beta and here is my find. I'm just trying to help out. Since the timing was a known bug then I guess the case is closed. Thanks for the help anyway.
  11. So I removed all plugins and it happened again. It has to do when scrolling the select button really fast. It's not really a problem but more of beta report since I am using the beta gizmo. Goran had written to use beta gizmo and report errors so here it is. Log.txt
  12. Well, it's not SO many. And it all started when I installed the gizmo beta. Never seen anything similar pop up before that. I will try the one by one and report back
  13. Getting a bunch more now, doing more or less nothing. I opened the weight settings and then opened another page to enter the correct weights in simbrief. While I had the W&B page up gizmo appeared in the background. Log.txt
  14. Posting here as recommended on discord. I was departing from HKML on the SID when I saw that the plane was following the SID in NAV mode but the HSI was not showing correctly even though it was in LRN1. I haven't flown with her so much so I start troubleshooting. I scrolled through the "select knob" on the left of the NAV1 when GIZMO crashed. (not a CTD but just the console showed up). Foolishly I pressed reboot and tried to continue. I think this is the relevant entry: 0:32:01.949 G64: timer.newOneShotEx("Saab_AP_CHP_XP_hdg_sync", 1.000): function already registered for timers.0:32:01.949 G64: error: Run(cmd): XPapHdgSync_OnStart: [string "JGX.1.Saab.00.lua.ra1"]:18133: timer.newOneShotEx("Saab_AP_CHP_XP_hdg_sync", 1.000): function already registered for timers. 0:32:02.066 G64: Run: [OnError] I realized now that you have to set the HSI CRS manually so just a pilot error. Oh, and everything after 0:33 can be ignored since it is me crashing after the plane reset. Win 10, Xplane 11.41, Gizmo64 v20.07.19.0120 Windows Log.txt
  15. Hello, I searched but I couldn't find any other report for this. It's a rare occurrence anyway. When EGT is higher than 800 degrees the needle doesn't move. Xplane 11.41 IXEG 1.33 Beta Gizmo Log.txt
  16. Since the update is coming close I would like to request a livery that is very near to me. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crossair_Flight_498#/media/File:39bb_-_Crossair_Saab_340B;_HB-AKK@ZRH;09.09.1998_(8296142611).jpg Me and my dad used to look at the planes land in Agno LSZA when I was a kid and they had this livery. This was before the collapse and then we moved from there so it is still in my memory. There are 2 other Crossair liveries out there but I would really appreciate this one.
  17. I am jumping in as a neutral new customer of the plane. The bank angle problem is annoying and since it is fixed in the new update I do not understand why a hotfix can't be released. Most of the other stuff is working ok (engine temps are broken but we can survive without them). Also by the devs it was mentioned that the plane is actually an XP10 plane but ported to XP11. In the store site it isn't really clear that it is an XP10 plane. It says XP11 compatible and "X-Plane 11 Only" so I would expect that it works perfectly. It isn't like XP11 is something new. I do appreciate that the devs are still updating it though and what is clear is that a lot of love has gone into making the Saab. What I want to bring out is that there are reasons to be a bit disappointed after buying the plane, at least for now. Also communication is important and I wish that LES would give a bit more info than "we do not release dates" kinda answer. I understand that people get disappointed when a "deadline" is missed but a LevelDsim approach where you say little for years is also a bad way for communication. It just ends with frustration. Saab V2 has been announced for a long time but there has been no update at all so it will cause curiosity and frustration. Is there anything bad in just sharing a bit of planned upgrades and a loose percentage of how done it is. FlyJsim have a fantastic way of communication via their Discord where they livestream their update programming and 3d designing and so has HotStart (yes I know Goran is in there) so it would be nice to improve communication to loosen the tension. It is up to you if you choose to answer but please don't become defensive. I mean this meant as positive criticism since it is clear that you guys do care and love the plane and want us to have a great simulation experience. Regards, Manfred
