  1. And here's a "real" cockpit picture ;D
  2. I like the last one. Had a great flight at sunset.

    Weird camera

it's a feature, not a bug . I never fly without "cinema verité" enabled.
  4. nice. thanks for posting. (caravan! )
  5. found it: http://www.vattastic.com/ and http://vatview.com/vatview.php
  6. logged into Vatsim today (my account is from 2001 and needed to be reactivated first, lol), but did not fly. only checked XSquawkBox and how it works, and listened to the ATC in Vancouver. Nice, there's really some traffic out there. Don't know, but maybe I dare a flight on Vatsim tomorrow. Will be VFR first for sure P.S.: Decided for Vatsim/XSquawkBox, because XSquawkBox has active support and development, and it also integrated voice right into the plugin. Now I am looking for a solution to see what's up in the air, something like servinfo or an overlay with Google Maps. Just something.... But there seems to be nothing available yet for Mac/OSX.
  7. depends just "how much" you want. Native X-Plane: view "cinema verité" Plugin: Pilot View, adjustable
  8. GA! Quest Kodiak, as mentioned before. Or, how about a Socata TBM 700? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SOCATA_TBM
  9. here's the trick: http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?showtopic=49126&view=findpost&p=544305 just as you say. seems the only way to do it.
  10. Hi Indi. I just found out: It's an animation / menu that toggles through all available reviews with a picture
  11. Thanks for the review. I also bought it yesterday. Here's one thing that I found: My NAV lights won't always turn on. It seems they should operate with the battery and/or the starter just like the removing of the cold and dark parking stuff and placing the pilot in his seat, as you only have strobe lights as a switch in the cockpit. I once had them working, rather suddenly and unintentional. Couldn't get them to work later on with a second flight.
  12. The Beech Baron? Available as freeware in the *.org download manager.
  13. yes, enjoying extreme res at 2560x1440 and (sufficient) 2xAA, although of course most other settings have to be more or less modest at this resolution. FPS 30-60 with most planes and sceneries, nice and smooth. Also can't do video in xplane with that resolution and screenshots are getting cropped automatically.
  14. Beautiful Canada, Ibiza and Mallorca.
  15. Great! Looking forward to this one!
  16. We already have those, made by Shade Tree Micro Aviation. Vote with us on the Kodiak. It's the most modern Bush Plane (STOL) that's available. I agree on the G1000, but then there's the Corvalis also done by XA - sounds like possibilities http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=quest+kodiak&aq=f
  17. Quest Kodiak would get my vote, too.
  18. Hoping that the c208 and DHC6 are still in active development, I'd say you could fill the gap between the default c172 and the upcoming c208 by modelling a C206.
  19. Well, if you want to list "all" payware, I guess you also have to list the mediocre stuff like from http://www.x-hangar.com/store/. Missing is also http://x-plane.sgier.com and his PC12, as well as The Avroliner at http://xplane.andreasbenjamin.com/index.php
  20. I'm all set up for flying with FSE and http://xfsd.ansorg-web.de/fsdmap/ , sometimes joining the sundays fly-inns, because no changes to my settings are needed. Some years ago I tried Ivao and Vatsim, I'll eventually do it again, but not today or in the near future. That's about the only reason. Otherwise I enjoy beeing online (all my flights, with some exceptions, are done on the xfsd flightserver) and seeing other pilots around me.
  21. looking forward to my first shuttle flight in xplane ever! great video
