  1. I think it's in parts a very subjective question, who purchases what. There are some general things: Large Area for a cheap price, as has been mentioned like with Howdys scenerys, that's I'm sure interesting for a lot of folks, even if they don't fly the region often. That's why I bought the "virtual comumbia" package. However, for example, I purchased http://www.eiresim.com/leal.html as you know. Single airport with what I would say standard features of high quality payware at nearly the same price than other complete packages. But for the wrong simulator, so I even converted it, and of course it's not perfect. So for me, for this airport, I would be willing to pay even more for an as good as or better native xplane version. Time is money, too. Also, you might want to start with 1 or 2, later make that a package of 3-5 in a bundle. like howdy did KPAE and the surrounding area. Nice strategy. I'd say: Release one airport that you have for a really a low price, like 4.99$, and collect as much feedback on this one as you may get.
  2. when will those sceneries be available? pay- or freeware? ;D
  3. all versions of Fly!, then completely switched to Mac and XP8, XP9.
  4. finally had a chance to visit the island
  5. in germany it's directly on their homepage
  6. While the visual quality does not match the Saratoga, this C152 still is a great plane. Had one flight and a lot of fun. One thing that I found was done really good is taxiing: The front wheel is "loose" and does not move with the rudder (they're independent; can't explain better with my english, sorry). And yes, those views are quite nice, a lot of stuff is animated - good plane! I now have Chandlers C150, 4forces (has GPS) and this one (has no GPS). I guess that's enough little Cessnas now, but I like to support the developers.
  7. Read nothing about it yet anywhere, but received an notice by Email (I had purchased the Saratoga directly in their shop): http://www.carenado.com/ecommerce/buscador.php3?id_producto=91
  8. does this thing have a 3D-Pit? nice
  9. Little snitch or firewall running that stops xplane from communicating?
  10. Washington enhanced would be great. Any plans?
  11. Really a promising project. But because my flights are done within FSEconomy, and our airports are in Washington, BC, and some in europe, it seems that I'm one of those who won't be able to use it. But I wish you luck with it!
  12. 1. No need to really "delete" them. Move them out of their folder. So you immediately can move them back when something different was the reason for failure. 2. No need to delete all of them. There may or may not be - depending on your xplane setup - pref files of plugins there, like Airport-Navigator, FOV-Loader, Checklister, Goodway. Try deleting "X-Plane.prf" only first.
  13. Vatsim with x/s-box will always overwrite any wheather settings. If your problem returns you want to try the "classic problem solver" and move your preference files out of their folder, in order for xplane to generate new ones, and try again.
  14. well, I tried and went back to .62. Network (my connection to my iPad) did not work in .64 and the local chart popped up any time I loaded a plane or left any of the settings dialogues.
  15. That happened before. Might just be an oversight by Austin. Anyway: I would wait for the final (last) final version. 9.62 is very stable and history tells us: be careful with the betas as long as they don't promise a feature that you desperately "need".
  16. Amerrir looked at the Beta some weeks ago: http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?showtopic=48993
  17. (actually: 2 DC3 are available) I voted for the scenery, but as for a plane: The Beech Duke. It even has three exclamation marks in this list! c'mon, that's a sign!
  18. I'm looking forward to it, really. More vis WITH accurate and not "jumpy" wheather is (as long as we don't know that much about the new ATC implementation) my Top-Feature for XP10. For the planes I fly 100nm is 30min-60min flight time. It's great news
  19. It had a bug for quite some time and wouldn't work with XP9.62. It's fixed. Try again. Setup is easy and it is totally worth the effort and money. You have all US charts (VFR, IFR, TAC, Airport Layouts, Approaches....), metar, and even a basic flight planner.
  20. That's "Skycharts Pro" for the iPad.
