  1. tbh if we could get this as a popout bindable to a key I would have less issue with it. approaches/departures can be a bit fast paced especially on vatsim. an option to at least do that would be nice so I dont have to leave the controls to fumble with the screen (considering the non interactive cabin display is a pop out I find this fair)
  2. I see the page for the settings but dont see anywhere to tell it where to send the report to. is the page just incomplete? I can send and recieve normal text messages so I'm trying to figure what I can and cant do yet.
  3. yeah I noticed this too. along those lines can we get some kind of function for apu not available ops? there are some airports that prohibit apu for noise for example. there are options in the fms for air config to be used for takeoff/landing in the perf pages for ice and bleed config. maybe use those as a reference for what copilot does? otherwise I have to do everything manually
  4. so i spent some time waiting for weather to clear with the study panels of the air system open just experimenting and found something a bit odd. looking at the air conditioning diagrams Ill try to explain best I can on text. normally with both packs on the APU, the ACU inlet TT is about 132C ok thats fine and makes sense. if you shut off the packs ACU inlet TT goes to 63C which also makes sense (though seems a little fast for what happened to my brain) if you dont shut off the packs and instead close the LCV, which also simply seems to close the packs for lack of pressure except leaving the ejector open, the TT drops to -22C which seems really odd considering there doesnt seem to be much difference mechanically in closing packs or closing LCV besides the ejector. also the conditioned air outlet temps are different here with 60 and 22c respectively which seems odd since air was cut to both systems at the same time operating ear equally at time of the loss of airflow alternately closing the 10th stage isolation makes the right ACU drop to a teeth chattering -216C and putting the entire system in the negatives until the actual temp control valve to the cabin which somehow despite being open mantains 56C conditioned air outlet temp despite the valve being partly open still. short version can someone explain to me why the temeratures change so wildly depending on which part of the air system closes? is this just a factor of the valve closing reactively to an already cold air getting into the system being further cooled instead of being closed prior? or is there something Ive missed? it just seems to happen really fast for the drastic change in temps
  5. perhaps a click option in the help overlay as to if you want to turn around or secure for example? would require more commands to the checklist system but im sure theres a way.
  6. yeah the only thing I get is the galley dome lights when I switch boarding lights (which are still a bit dim in my opinion but I dont have the real ones to compare to). also emergency exit light switch does not appear to turn on any lights though when dark the exit light at the stairs is always on regardless of switch position. side question where are the seat bbelt/no smoking signs supposed to be in the cabin? those dont appear either
  7. dont actually see this setting anywhere. only options are "draw parked aircraft", "draw shadows on scenery", and "use vulkan" everything else is a slider
  8. that would solve it! glad to hear. though I would have been surprised if it wasnt, a confirmation is good.
  9. eicas shows pressure. so guessing the gauge just doesnt work then
  10. I turned on every light I could in the control panel. in the stream I saw the accent light around the curtain door handle lit which is not on for me unless I'm missing a button somewhere? also is there a way to turn on the stair lights? I know it has them as there is even a plackard on the side of the steps for turning them on with battery power only
  11. is this just not simulated yet or am I missing a way to service/fill the o2 bottles. gauge in the external panel is always 0 and I dont see anywhere else to read it but masks still seem to work from the sounds.
  12. sequencing just goes from shutdown to secure and I cant figure how to start the turnaround checklist after shutdown so I dont have to repower the plane from scratch or any of the alternate checklists like immediate return for that matter
  13. I had this playing with an exterior panel. go to the apu panel aft on pilots side under the nacelle. open that theres a reset button

    IPad App

yeah they are. the app is pretty accurate and you can use different profiles for climb, cruise, and descent. my problem is for long range the hs tbm runs out of fuel way too soon. in the app, setting up a flight from klal-koun I should make it there at 30kft long range cruise even with the 48kt headwind with reserve to spare. its a 966nm trip but in sim I just barely make it to kmei to my reserve line. thats maybe halfway there? dont even think its that honestly

so? by that logic a king air would be the same performance if you double the fuel burn. same engine different plane. that same engine has to pull a bigger plane which effects all aspects of the flight. you modified the weights? great thats what I asked about originally. what did you modify? maybe share the profile?

    IPad App

how? the one in pfpx is a different model with different performance and capabilities. the app has the model we use and just requires some info on the air frame to be accurate pfpx is great for getting and exporting routes. but I dont trust a calculation for the 850 to work on the 900

    IPad App

what weights and equipment settings did you use for the app?

    IPad App

I've been using the android version of the same app. been trying to do a 960(ish) NM flight to test accuracy but the plane in the sim says it will run out of fuel maybe half way there even though the app says I'll make it with 50 gals left over
  19. no it isnt because the altitude restriction is white. have to select it and press enter for it to change color and be usable in vnav. which I am unable to do currently so I reported it in the support thread. until then you will have to fly the constraints manually. but I think most of the constraints dont apply to turboprops unless told otherwise? so the contraints remain white for "reference" and the pilot has to enable them manually
  20. In the g1000 I believe I am supposed to be able to scroll (outer fms knob) through the flight plan in pattern of waypoint-altitude-repeat and press enter on the white entries to enable them. However when I scroll, the white entries are skipped entirely and are not selectable. the first restriction already in blue works fine and is selectable but none after
