Yes there shouldn't but it causes troubles with other planes's propdisc for example... anyway, don't want to pollute that thread,I'll eventually start a new support one in the appropriate section with the log etc when I can

Okay guys sorry for raising such question ... And yeah I have to disable Gizmo and reload the sim to enjoy the other great planes, this with the Falco, C-152 and DC-3 ... but that's fine with me the sim loads very quickly now ;-)

What you guys have against SASL ? At least it don't screw up every other planes in the sim, just for one hour of a Gizmo powered plane ... I got tired of being forced to restart the sim to use another plane, or I have my control locked, prop disc **** up etc etc ...

That looks good ;-) What kills everything is clouds and AA ( and shadows a bit ... ) All very good computer can run max objects, trees, roads and vehicles without issues. The problem I have, maybe you can help, is that I got 32 GB 2400 MHz Ram, but they are recognized on Win 7 64Bit as 1140 MHz ... same with the GTX Titan Amp ! of 6GB, only 4095 Mb are seen ( and used ) by windows ... I don't want to overclock it, just get the default specs ..

Yeah no AA ... plus I never been able from the past to use it, so now it looks kinda blurry to me... my native res for the VG278 is 1920X .... at 144Hz, I just let this res.

You were entirely true guys .. Starting back to 0 ugly settings and pushing them one by one ... Now I got solid 40 FPS with EVERYTHING on max, full HDR Atmospheric Scattering etc ... Just 75% clouds with cumulus and no AA Will post picts tomorrow, finally, pretty happy of the result. The key was, as you stated, not to stupidly put all to max without thinking about it... worst things are Shadows ( I run the option just before global, melt your GPU ) and AA

Yeah that's true ;-) Still I can run everything maxed out except global shadows and antialiasing full, with 40-50 FPS over a big city ( no clouds ) and 70 over countryside or see Those clouds really ruins everything ... What is strange is that some other sims ( DCS ... ) have much better looking and realistic clouds and are much more optimised ... hope REX Weather system prepare us some great things ;-)

Hi guys I just finished today the building, will post picts and clear analysis when I find time maybe this week end but overall, that setup runs EVERYTHING Maxed out in hiugh 70's ( the minimum ) or even insolent 150+FPS... it runs latest DCS World 1.2.5 full details and AA 80 FPS, Far Cry III same, ArmA III same... but not X-Plane ! ;-( ;-( ;-( With all maxed out, 150% clouds, all AA, HDR Atmospheric Scattering and Global Shadows ( anyway, all the options pushed up ), I got high 15 FPS, which is enormous compared of the workload it has to do ... but really, I was expecting to run it as the other games... I truly think X-Plane isn't optimised, it's not the most beautiful software I've seen ( yet it's truly impressive ), so I don't see why no PC on earth can run it at max, like all other apps ... Anyway, more details later ! Hueyman

I will post pictures of the thing all throighout the built and of course, the most interesting for us, the results in X-Plane 10. Some says the Titan is obsolete because it's CPU limited... that's why I took the most powerful CPU around, some says the I7 3970X will be obsolete because it's GPU limited... that's why I took the Titan AMP ! Edition ( boosted to death, single GPU ) etc etc. So, I really hope to max everything out in X-Plane, DCS World, ArmA III etc with 60+ FPS and have great rendering times in Blender. I'm also doing Computer Assisted Music ( Guitar, Keyboard ... ) this explaining the really great Z906 system, with a M-Audio Fast Track I already use for years. As I'll have a big screen, I thought it would be clever to get the Track IR ( useless with my current 15" laptop screen ) Regarding Hardware, I already have the Thrustmaster Warthog, with the long stick mod ( for better control around all travel ), and Saitek Combat Pedals.

Yeah but I've heard X-Plane strangely can't currently use the CPU at full potential ... myth or reality ? Anyway, I probably speak too much, only the results will be there to confirm or infirm that but if it doesn't work well, that is probably a lack of optimization and resources use from LR side, as, even if it can be incredibly beautiful in some situations ( sunset, 150% clouds, HDR and AA on, objects insane over a big city ... ) it's not the prettiest eye candy software either

So, correlated with the 3970X, it should do the job
