  1. Thanks for the feedback and nice words!
  2. I would debate "normally". They were an option but my impression is that they were the exception, rather than the rule.
  3. Thanks for the feedback, everyone. Reading all posts, taking notes!
  4. If you get stuttering when you modify the route in the FMS, make sure to exclude the X-Plane folder from Windows Defender live virus checking.
  5. Check sound device settings for Windows AND also for X-Plane (sound menu). Restart computer also sometimes helps.
  6. Hi @judeb, I think what is probably happening (I just tested this) is that the autopilot stay on when you override the modes (the green CMD still shows) but you revert to CWS (control wheel steering) modes (shown in yellow). You can´t disengage the autopilot by moving the joystick, it will only fall back to CWS and the autopilot warning light flashes (but no warble).
  7. Hi @blondejfx I just tested this and for me the trim does not start to run if I ONLY use the Flight Directors.
  8. I have had reports of the VRconfig file missing, I will doublecheck and fix if I can verify that!
  9. Let me know how this works for you! I agree, you never forget your first airliner, I get on my FO´s nerves by reciting the "Leaving airplane checklist" from memory when we shut down our 747-8´s IRS mode selector - off Fuel pumps - off Galley power...
  10. Thanks for letting us know about this! I also wonder what you thought of KABQ (I made the default airport in XP12)
  11. There is now a default GPU on many airports in X-Plane that you can request via the ground services menu. I realize that this GPU just drives up, stays for a while then leaves again (and that it´s presence does not coincide with the availability of ground power), but we did not want that GPU to "clash" with the default one. Also, often ground power comes not from a cart (this is nowadays the exception), but from a fixed wire at the jetbridge or from a ground socket.
  12. It will take a while - you probably have a "Level 2" activation issue like many other people, X-Aviation will come up with a solution very shortly, I am certain.
  13. You can input the total weight from the X-Plane menu into the GW (grossweight) field of the PERF page and then the FMS will calculate the ZFW (and fill the box) for you. Check your fuel level if you start "engines running" but they don´t run. If that still does not work, follow standard X-Plane bug resolving protocol, remove all other plugins and retest.
  14. Hi John, we are in the transition to a better load&trim page - for now please use the default X-Plane weight and balance menu. Unfortunately the default X-Plane menu does not detail the zero fuel weight, but if you just read off the "Gross Weight" and then enter this into the 737´s FMS, the PERF page will do the calculation for you and the ZFW will appear. Hope this helped, Jan
  15. Strange, thanks for reporting, I will check and file if I can confirm it.
  16. @Meg4VoltKnown problems but thanks for reporting - "next days" will be a bit ambitious for the update, but we will hurry ;-)
  17. There are many custom keybindings available for the IXEG, iirc they are all in the "733" subfolder of assignments in X-Plane. I know nothing about Honeycomb controls or their configurator, but I am able to set all of these up with my Thrustmaster hardware...
  18. Thanks for the report, will tune high-alt starter behavior and we will look at a way to override the default X-Plane startup spool speed.
  19. Thanks for the report!
  20. Someone posted it in the link on the main release thread.
  21. Thanks for the heads-up, I will verify this! Normally only the pilot and the autopilot can trim the aircraft, both on the ground and in the air. One thing - in the 737 Classic you do not ARM any modes on the ground, you use the TOGA buttons to trigger the TOGA mode (for takeoff). Activate LNAV when passing 50 feet, activate a pitch mode when passing 400 feet (earliest).
  22. Also make sure that the sound output device in your Windows setting and in X-Plane are the same.
  23. You need to remove your numerous plugins to find the conflicting one.
  24. Oh wow, good catch, thanks!
  25. Hi and thanks for the feedback - I will doublecheck the starter power at high altitudes (MMMX), the move to XP12 created some headaches regarding starting. We have no control over the fuel scheduling and we might have to resort to some scripting to tame the spool up after fuel introduction. I have also noticed that power requirements for taxiing were a bit high in our latest version, Laminar is changing wheel parameters a bit in the upcoming next version (less wheel weight, tiny increase of hub friction for the "stopped" case) and I will retune the rolling behavior when that drops. I look forward to your further reports, it has been 11 years since I last released the parking brake of a 737-300 and memories fade fast... Cheers, Jan
